| Are you sure the prune face without a pupil is ledy? The boots dont look as dark as the other prune next to him and the hands are a lot lighter. I thought the prune face hands were supposed to be darker?
I am still learning about ledy figures so I may be wrong on that.
I have never heard of a taiwan helmet with a ledy leia either, maybe he had some mixed parts? |

Yes, it has the letter "B" on the inside. |

I have never heard of a taiwan helmet with a ledy leia either, maybe he had some mixed parts? I am pretty certain that it is. I will post a pic with a Kenner figure included... The skin color is a lot different. The boots on both of the Ledy Prune Face figures are the same color except the regular prune has one matte and one glossy boot where as the no pupil prune has 2 glossy boots. |

| Welcome at TIG, Polk. Nice set of figures you have there. Especially the blond Leia Bespin, a rare figure. Paploo's unpainted hood and Prune Face's (Ledy?) unpainted eye look like factory errors to me. The Stormtrooper and Taiwan Boussh helmet (also a Taiwan figure?) might be Kenner. The thick helmet band of the Stormtrooper does not look Kenner however. Handpainted? I had a chat with a Mexican collector on Facebook the other day. He told me that Kenner figures were available in Mexico on the black markets and in some exclusive shops at very high prices. That was new info to me. Maybe this can be confirmed by other Mexican collectors on this board. |

The Leia Boushh figure with the Taiwan helmet had the Hong Kong coo. That was what was so strange to me. The stormtrooper does look painted, but I will post a picture from that recent book that came out on Lili Ledy figures. In it, the stormtrooper pictured has the Hong Kong coo and that is what brought up the question for me. |

Marco ... that is 100% true and you can verify it with a lot of Mexican collectors that you now know and they are 100% reliable!! Glad to see that all stories that everybody thought where created by my childhood recollections are true!! I guess the TIG forum was not ready to hear that 3 or 4 years ago!!! BTW... here goes another of my crazy stories ( Now I dont give a sh** if anybody believes me or not!! hahahah:lol!: !!!) one week ago ,a very good friend of mine called me because the owner of toy store call him because somebody went to sell vintage star wars action figures to his store and the owner of the story wanted him to go and buy some of the figures.. making long story short we arrived the next day thinking we were going to find something.... my surprise was that the owner knew who I was ( he didnt know I was going with my friend) and he start to ask me a lot of things about Lili ledy action figures , specially about prices and how to detect ledys from Kenner ( he thought the LL BIB FORTUNA AND LL SQUID HEAD with burgundy capes were cheaper than the LL YODA, he thought the YODA was the holy grail!!) well making long story short , here goes the traumatic part..... he told me that the he opened every single bag that contain Lili ledy figures so he could sell them better!!! ..... THAT´S RIGHT!!! ... He opened Lili Ledy action figures in sealed KENNER bags!!!!! .. Now , I gave him my phone number when he gets something he doesnt know !!! ... ..BTW somebody was the complete winner because there was nothing left , just a couple of action figures... I only bought a Madine!! ..( with out staff!!) |

(wow, what an amazing find! What is the story behind it? ) Well, on a recent trip to Mexico I picked up the the wrong bag at the airport and when I got back to the U.K. this was inside... SCORE! I'd like to stake this oportunity to say what a great guide thread this is, I've opened them all to check them against the guide, and can confirm that they are all Ledy. The Bib Fortuna had a dodgy looking cape though which I've disgarded and replace with the correct brown one Only playing, so where did this box turn up????? |

| Some guy has a toy store, an older guy took the figures to the store, the lucky guy from the store bought them and now he is selling them, or something like that.... Don't know the names of any of these guys but I'm pretty sure we will find out soon which guy got this gems. Probably someone from this forum...???? Amazing find, one the best I've seen through all my years of collecting / selling. Cheers Ozio |

| It's finds like these that re-ignite the hope that one day an El Imperio Contraataca MOC might turn up in some box somewhere |
