hi, i have just bought a luke farm boy with what was described as a genuine vintage yellow saber with tip, however on doing the float test it sinks, on checking some of my other sabers vaders x 2 with lettered markings i notice these sink too. I know it is not a new repro as it has a softer feel rather than the tinny plastic, just wondered if there is a sure fire way of telling if it is genuine or not cheers

The float test is NOT 100% ( as you have found out ) Sabers can be far more difficult to authenticate. Good pictures will be your best starting point.

Try placing the lightsaber on top of the water, instead of dropping it in. I hope that makes sense.
