Am waiting on 2 more on facebook for the update here

Please keep the Outer Realm section up and running. I've been enjoying reading and seeing all the different bootlegs. I personally don't own any of the figures that you guys are discussing here, so I can't contribute much in the way of discussions or posts. There is a whole world of figures that I know nothing about and am willing to learn about. I don't belong to RS or Facebook, so this is my main site.

I didn't save it, but was just a sleepless me griping about wanting to tear into the trolls that are on RS, bitching about no one using the Outer Realm for bootleg discussions lately, other than Martijn and Patsy. etc etc etc. Sad that it takes me being negative to get people to wake up and post....

Are you sure it's not that it's sad that you *think* it takes you being negative to get people to wake up & post, but really being positive & regularly "contributive" was what would have actually made a real difference over the long & short haul...?

I don't have the power to ban anyone at the moment but you can certainly go eat a bag of dicks for giving me shit about taking a hiatus from posting.
I've been gone from the hobby only a few short months, sorry that's unacceptable for me to have personal shit take up all of my time. The fact that this section has gotten stagnant w.o me shows that my presence and participation has value for getting people interested and back to talking. I know that for the long term of things being positive is better, I'm not dumb, but since I've been gone it's dried up here.I just figured that people didn't need me to keep them involved once the forum was set up and that someone else would step up and post discussions and keep things flowing.
As for leaving the hobby, I came the closest that I've ever come to hanging it up during this last hiatus, even had brokering set up to just ship it all out at once and get money as it sold and not have anything to do w.it.
No big post about it, just was going to disappear.

I can thank Daren,Mike, Andy and John for getting me back on track once I pulled out of my personal slump.

AllanB - this reply is nothing but inflammatory. Im going to make it simple, do it again and I'm banning you for two weeks. Please reflect on the fact that just stirring up trouble doesn't do anything except to fan the flames.

Ive addressed you on numerous occasions, given your collection and you a wrap on several occasions, even welcomed you back, tried to be as personal and warm as i could, this is the first time youve ever addressed me, and you come out with this..

I can say definitively it wasn't directed at you dude.

Overall the Outer Realm has been quiet, that's all. I run stats and google analytics on this stuff.

I think overall (and sadly) on every forum the negative or trouble remarks garner the most responses. It's then followed by announcements (birth of a child, wedding, passing of someone) and discoveries.

I really don't think Joe was going any further than that line of thinking.

Sorry John, my mistake mate, all good, im learning lots in this section, and when im well and truly ontop of my finances im really looking forward to getting a few of these fantastic pieces, they have so much charm.
