| Post pics, questions and info about the Brazilian Model Trem line of bootleg figures and vehicles. Both series are welcome here. Lots of newer information that's not in the original article I did for the Archive....ALL of that will be posted here on TIG.

| I'm really looking forward to seeing some info here. Of all the lines this is the one that seems to be the most elusive (for me anyway). |

| This is the white second series vehicle with the big missle in front I know joe has 2, not sure if martijn has one or anyone else. My question, I have a loose wheel complete with metal bracket ,but the other 2 wheels were put on the wrong side.So should I glue the loose wheel in the wrong spot or remove the other 2 and reglue all 3 in correct spots thanks Patsy |

| Amazing thread lads!! i have just started my MOdel Trem collection with a Stormtrooper I did a searching looking for info about MT and i have read every single link provided here, and that was very very interesting and funny ,the more i watch this MT figures the more i love them ! On the other hand i have realized that people have different weapons along with the same caracter, i have a doubt, there are certain weapons especific for each figure or MT sold theirs figures with random weapons?? thanks again for such a great thread!! |

| Model Trem's came with the correct weapon(same weapon as Kenner equivalent) for that character. The only exception that I can note so far would be the original Leia, in every boxed example I've owned or seen, shes had a Bespin blaster or Han blaster. Every other MT SW figure came with the correct weapon. Only one I do not have is a MT Ree Yees weapon.
Cheers Joe |

Cheers Joe Thanks for the info Joe Please ,correct me if i am wrong but ,if MT never made an AT-AT driver figure why there are so many pictures of figures along with an AT-AT driverĀ“s weapon?? also i have never seen a MT Ā“s Chewie , bossk or CCP/Tie pilot weapon i.e. |

| Sure, no problem It doesn't have the side hook to hook over Chewie's arm like the Kenner version. Indeed I haven't seen a Leia blaster before, nor a Tie-Pilot weapon or a CCP communicator. Do have a RY rifle though ~Martijn |

| I'm looking forward to when we get the comprehensive Model Trem guide to show both figure and weapons.
Answering the question of which are the hardest to track down, I would lean towards that being some of what are theorized to be the final figures produced from the original set. Those are the figures made of resin instead of lead and are.. Gamorrean Guard, The Emperor, Ree Yees (which has been found in both lead and resin versions), Klaatu Skiff, and Bib Fortuna.
This isn't taking into account the figure variations like IG-88 with different paint or 21-B with the different arms. Nor does it take into account the mold differences that we've seen on some of the figures; Hoth Stormtrooper has two different body styles as does the 21-B figure.
It's really amazing what we haven't uncovered with the Model Trem line, but I really place that on geography for where the series was produced and where a majority of collectors are (with lots over in Europe, we have found out more information about the Polish and Uzay lines).
Don who still loves the Model Trem line but has no dreams about ever finishing it. |

| I share your excitment don, there is also a mold difference With luke x-wing, scarf no scarf and han hoth holster with and without strap. I also have 4 tie pilot variations , man I love these things my wife and my dad are sick of the words model trem lol |

| Can you post some pics of those variants? I love the model trem series and know one day I'll get back to collecting them (despite the two that I've recently sold due to necessity). Is there differences in the Emperor figure, or is that just the paint application?
Don who ranks his love for bootleg lines as Model Trem, Uzay, and then Polish Unarticulated. |

| The timing as it's coming together, is the Uzay update first, then Polish following. After that it depends on scheduling as I want to work mainly with Martijn(with help and pics from everyone else that has variations we don't show on the forum posts) on getting the updated MT guide together.
Patience my friends, good things are happening here and will expand all of our knowledge of our favorite bootleg lines.
Cheers Joe |
