so I will post my new purchases. I am waiting for my first complete Hoth trooper box and weapon. It also gives me great pleasure to announce that I finally have a COMPLETE SET!!! A special thank you to my friend jason for passing on that sexy leia hoth. Also this is my opportunity to make public our arrangement if I ever sell leia, you will get first dibs on her as well as the at at commander since I believe he was yours from the start. Trems Are A Way Of Life !! Yeah.. it'll be complete if I ever get my act together and get it mailed out to you. Completely my fault on this end, but it'll be heading your way. I just ask that if you run across another one (say complete without box) that you let me know. Congrats on the complete set. That's an accomplishment. Don who promises to get the Hoth Trooper posted out by the end of this week. |

| Hey markus just a little info, the box with the inner foam is the prize, its value 50 to 75 for the box 25 for foam. The vader having a broken tip really kills the value imo he is worth 150 to 175 if some one really has to have it you might get 300 to 325 but until you lower your price to that area its a tough sell good luck I hope you sell it! Thanks patsy ps pm if you wanna sell the box |

| Hey guys, definitely not trying to stir trouble or anything, but I'm trying to get a better grip on what fair prices are for trems. I can't understand how this vader w/complete cape and saber could be valued at less than $200, but then re-painted beater figures (there was a C3PO and couple others) all have price tags over $200. Even though the saber is broken, that Vader still displays quite nicely.
Just trying to get a feel for the real value of some MT's since I know nothing, Turk |

| also don´t know why Watto pricing this item such low but hey everybody have a own price in mind ...but give you right Turk the figure is super minty and the box all is very nice condition... and i feel more about the value but maybe i have not that knowledge like Watto. but if i´m right this is not the place to talk about price for sale this item it is for fair values and other things to know on these bootlegs depending what i would take for this vader i would value it with 500 USD in that condition... (i take less ;-)...) when i bought i paid roudn about 600 usd but with the saber not broken... without the case! but i´m not such a bootleg collector but when i see all the paint missing vaders out there and here is just the saber broken and not missing paint i woudl value it like semilar ... mmmh

| So I just acquired my very first Model Trem. He's super minty, and even has the saber extension. It's the first MT I've ever seen in real life, and man they're cool! Now I understand why so many folks go gaga over them. What a cool line! |

| It's interesting to know that there are 4 saber variations, Markus. Does anyone have any pics so I can try and eventually track them down? Are there also any packaging variations with Model Trems? |

| mete your correct when we last spoke of a possible trade, i put value on decent shape trems between 200 to 1300. The value i put on my trade bait was inflated , i thought there was way more excitement out there for trems i put up for sale my trade bait and i was off by 25 to 50 each so based on that and based on my winning bid of a luke with broken saber with box i purchased for 275. that is why i valued his vader at that price, by no means did i mean to offend markus. Maybe i shouldnt have set a value on his piece without private pm, for that i apologize to you markus. But the fact remains the current market is a little weaker than say 6 months ago. ps my c3po was part of adams set so thats why i set a higher price.
As far as saber variations on vader ive had a wide metal saber, sold it! JOE should attest to that, he seen it at nycc. i currently have a thin metal saber, also have a plastic saber unpainted and painted that is why i say 4 thanks patsy |

Red Saber 2. Thin Metal Saber 3. Plastic Clear What was the 4th one? I think I missed it. And are there confirmed examples of Vader in both boxes, the Model Trem label and Aventura Na Glaxia label? And are there any variations to Vader himself, or just saber Variations? Sorry for all the questions, but I'm kind of excited about MT's now after getting my first. |

| I think there is even more. Patsy mentioned a painted plastic one which I have never seen. I know these four (plus yours): Thick metal, thin metal, plastic with metal pin all through, plastic with short metal pin. |

| Hey guys, Patsy, congrats on the complete set! Tad, congrats on the Vader, it looks really awesome with the saber extention! Never seen that before. Regarding the saber variants, I think the plastic ones are all the same. IMO they were constructed with a metal pin and a plastic tube slided over and than painted. All the variants Wolff shows are the same, the first one painted, the 2nd one plastic removed and repainted metal, the 3rd one paint from tube removed and the 4th has the paint removed plus the metal pin broken As for the syrofoam inserts IIRC those where all custom made and not original MT. (maybe Joe can confirm, I thought Alex made those?) As for value, the Vaders are quite common so for a loose complete one 150-250 is ok, a correct numbered box would add about 100 for me. I can't say anything about the label variants, those where completely random IMO as also the box colors. I have 3 Vader variants, 1 with lead limbs, 1 with resin legs and 1 completely different Hope to post some pics after the summer holiday. Cheers, Martijn |

| Wow, there's some great info being shared here! I knew there was the plastic and metal saber versions, but didn't realize there were variations within each.
I have a Vader with the broken metal saber, but I hope to get another someday with the full saber. That extension you have with yours Tad is damn cool. |
