| Funny term to use, I guess when you say holy grail , rocket fetts and the like start popping into mind, but what would be your ultimate pick up if you had the chance or money (or both!) ? The only thing to remember when answering is that whatever you choose must somehow relate to the things you collect! I guess for me on my character focus it would be this : While the picture might not be much to look at, this is actually a hand painted 2-UP Hardcopy of the figure. (You can read more here : http://theswca.com/index.php?action=disp_item&item_id=53050 ) I don't know where this is but I know that its probably never going to come up for sale or if it does it will carry a huge price tag. Anyone got any "grails" ? |

| Well, one item I think I will never have in my collection is a genuine Vlix figure, I even think will be able to score a DT Ben before a Vlix |

| As i have had to pick one Grail it took some time to work it out but here it is - Its the Empire Strikes Back 41-Back "Luke Caminacielos" PBP/Poch Release For a thousand reasons this has to be one of the greatest MOC's out there! Here are the pictures You can also read about it here! I don't think the chance of owning this will ever come up and i couldnt begin to put a value on such a rare and unique piece. Jay |

| There are two pieces that I would call holy grails for my collection. The first is the Kenner Executive coin set. I'm surprised that I've actually seen 2 of these come up for sale. The 2nd one currently residing at Brian's Toys. I think that is pretty impressive considering only 10 of these sets were put together. Now if I could find a way to come up with $30k The other is this internal Luke Jedi first shot which resides in this collection Here is a quote from the site about this piece. - Quote :
- Displayed at Toy Fair in 1983, this beautiful piece has a removable head with a plastic peg, feet with no peg holes, and no date or origin stamp. The accessories include two hand-painted sabers, a darker handmade cloak and a rough gun. The sabers appear to be yellow Luke Bespin sabers which have been painted with blue on the blades and black on the hilts.

| In my character focus it's a toss up between this: Rebel Commando Torso Half And the original photo art. Outside my focus, it would have to be a gold darth vader case! Those things are just plain cool! |

Outside my focus, it would have to be a gold darth vader case! Those things are just plain cool! Is that hard copy still owned by Michael G. Mensinger? (I saw he was the owner on theswca) How much would those things cost (ball park figures) in todays market? Cheers Jay |

| It's really hard to say how much they would cost right now. I'm guessing the torso would be in the ballpark of $500-$1000, but that's a wild guess at best. The gold darth vader case is around that price as well. The photo art would probably be around the $2,000-$3,000 area. And yes, Mike does still own the HC torso half! |

| I guess I'm lucky. I actually don't have one. There is no one item I just have to have. I like to mix up what I buy so I guess it makes the world my oyster. |

I probably follow a similar way of thinking John i dont have a character focus so there are no intimidate must have items for me so to speak. To try a different question what if someone said you can pick any item on theswca that you could take away for no cost what would it be? Jay |

| ive been thinking this over and i really couldent say
as every item i thought about that i wanted , has come up already and locked up in collection
i mean iam 2 early in the game to be thinking about a holy grail
theire is one thing , it's a skateboard featuring leia on a speeder bike beeing chaced by a bikerscout
the graphic looks like theier on full speed ahead
except for that, i guess all the things like proofs crom. og art , stuff that theire is just one off
most of it is locked up between 2 major collectors
except for that proof on ebay for 1299 pound , but iam not ready to be spending that kind of cash |
