I was notiifed that one of my pictures (published on The Imperial Gunnery) was used for one of your ebay listings, i.e. #170974780848

I do not agree with your listing for three rrasons:
1) You use a TIG picture without asking permission or an acknowledgement
2) Potential buyers will probably think that the depicted staff is the one which they will receive after buying. This is misleading.
3) Buyers who recognze the picture might link me or TIG with your shop

Looking forward seeing your revised ebay listing within the next 24 hours.

BTW: I don't mind when sellers mention the TIG site in their item description so potential buyers can get some reliable information about a certain item. But in that case, you should do it in a different way.

Hi, I got the image of the Internet and did not mean to cause offence using this. I could not see any mention for copyright for use and will happily revise accordingly. Clint also privately brought this to our attention. I want to thank him and Walkie for looking out for Marco and TIG!!


Just a side note, I reported this to Ebay as a copyright infringement a full day before Marco talked to the seller. They did NOTHING. Nice job Ebay.

I have reported multiple shill bid auctions to ebay in the past and they have all run the course of the auction and the sellers are still able to list other items. I don't know how much good it does reporting anything to ebay as I have yet to see them take any action. They may be slapping the seller on the wrist or something through a private message but the shill bids still were listed when the auctions end, so I am unsure what action they took to solve that issue. Seems like ebay has become a huge greed driven organization lately anyway making money off of the paypal transaction and the listing fees and final value fees.
