Totally gutted,missed out on this really nice boxed imperial shuttle!

The seller didn't ship to the UK & i only caught it with 10 minutes to go,i set up an ebay search to notify me when any imperial shuttles come up for sale but it didn't pick this one up,it sold for £65!

Ouch Mark, that did go for a great price. If only your ebay search had worked sooner you could have got one of the US guys to get it for you And looking at the winners' star rating I bet it's getting flipped.

I'd have gladly paid twice what it sold for,i've noticed when you set up an ebay search,a few things tend to slip through the net!

I had a close call on an ebay auction recently as well. However, I got a second chance offer and jumped on it. But I do know what it's like to miss out on something like that.

For future reference, if you run across anyone that won't ship outside the US, you can have them ship it to me and I'll ship it over to you.

If you can't get a hold of Chris, that goes for me too. I've helped out a few people here and on SWF with purchases before.

About the searches. Items tend not to come up when the seller doesn't ship to your country.

You should just manually do a newly listed items search for vintage star wars shuttle on eBay.com every day.

Unlucky, DS, that was a nice boxed vehicle, working too.
It's all a bit swings and roundabouts when getting lucky on Ebay sometimes. Something else really cool will come up soon for you mate I'm sure

I have had that happen to me loads of times so know how you feel.

If you do have enough time next time round do ask them! Some sellers can be persuaded to exempt you from buying restrictions if you lucky. Also, as Chris and Shawn pointed out too there's some excellent lads across the pond that will help you too!

To make sure you get the US only auctions included in your radar, log into eBay.com search for the item you want and save the search - you should get an email everyday with new listings.

When you see something interesting in the daily email, make sure you log in and browse on Ebay.com as you won't be able to see the sellers listings on eBay Uk even though you know he selling something.

On this topic, there was very recently (this week) a boxed complete working Imperial Shuttle for sale on RS at $100.00 (thanks AJ for the headsup coz i missed it). Unfortunately when the seller was stuffing around trying to get me a shipping quote (I don't think he bothered) after we agreed a price, somebody local to him contacted him, so he sold it to them instead. Poor form i think.
I don't ever think i'm gonna pick one of these up.

AJ also told me about the same shuttle(& mentioned if you hadn't bought it already)so i contacted the seller who said it had been sold but he still had it listed for sale!
