Every year we would kick up the donate thread and ask for donations to cover the costs of the sites, hosting, etc.. Instead of doing that I signed up TIG as an Amazon Associate so we can earn a few bucks when people shop online.

I didn't want to make the forum into a sales page, so it's just if you buy something.

Seems like a good initiative. Excuse my ignorance, but does Amazon give TIG a percentage of the purchase price for every item sold via the link, or do we make voluntary contributions?

Honestly I'm not sure of exactly what we get. I think it's small percentage.

It has some lovely pics and well laid out too

I second what walkie said. There is a ton of info here that isn't published anywhere. Maybe something like a travel guide for members..

What address are you seeing Todd? We had another generous member contribute and it did go to TIG so I think it's okay. LMK what you see so I can correct it though.

Wow I forgot about the main site donate button!! For whatever reason, Jay set up the forum and the weapon site independently of each other sometimes I forget that an administrative change has to be done twice!

Either way, we are good to go now. Thanks for pointing it out!
