| yes my death star station apartment is a mess! "Every toy has a story to tell!" My goals for the next few years and possibly a little more: To have at least one high grade set of loose figures including the last 17. I am sitting at 67 out of 93 now. But i have to upgrade a few figures but i think i am doing well.... To have all 12" characters from the original release. including Boba and IG -88 To have at least one high grade non AFA copy of each original playset from ANH. To have at least one high grade non AFA copy of each original vehicles from ANH. I got the dewback for creature i am good to go. Then i want to get the puzzles, die casts and every other " Kennered " Star Wars item that was made for ANH. Get a DT Luke, a VCJ and of course a Blue Snaggy but that i am keeping for later. Hi Guys, For those who don't know me, here is my limelight thread which mostly focuses on a New Hope items. I also pick up items from the rest of the original trilogy when i see a bargain but here is what i have. I did not post pics of the loose figures i have and the other modern star wars toys i have but one day i am gonna unpack everything i have and make a big family picture for everyone to enjoy. I have always loved star wars and always wanted to collect toys when i was younger ( 20 years ago ) but when i had the chance the internet was not really popular and buying from catalogs was too much of a risk. So i abandoned that idea and collected comics up until 5 years ago when i decided to call it quits because it was getting too expensive and that the media was moving to digital anyways and i could see that investing in comics was not really a good deal. Time passed by, then, a couple of years ago on a trip i saw the new vintage cards and was surprised at what was going on. I did some research and learned that TVC was about to go on for some time and i was hooked. By the same token this re-ignited my passion for the original toys and soon after i decided to start collecting the old vintage items i never had a chance to get when i was young. First thing i did was that I bought a batch of figures from one guy on ebay and started to collect ever since. My prime focus is on stuff from the original movie because for one thing they are old and getting rarer but also they hold a special place in my heart. And so i am trying to find the best deal on everything that Kenner put out for the original movie. And i think i am doing great for such a short amount of time. In a years and a half i have accumulated a lot of kenner stuff that gravitates around the action figures like the play sets, game boards and creature. I have been able to find some good deal so far on mostly all that i bought and i am kinda proud of that. My goal is to get a boxed copy of everything ANH at some point. I know this is a long term goal but i ll keep you posted as i "move along " as one dude said to another. Starting with the Vader tie Figther below: As for the pics , I know i should put stuff in the latest purchase thread but there was so many photos that i have taken and i just did not want to hijack the purchase thread. I decided to post the pics here as well as give an explanation of what is going on. I am also doing this for would be collectors so they can see the toy. The toy is pretty big i did not expect that it was that big. I have a POTF 2 Tie fighter and the cockpit is small compared to this, but maybe they are...Sadly I also had to break it apart to get the motor going as it was seized. All you have to do is remove 8 screws and carefully separate the tie fighter. It is not glued so with care it splits apart. I got the motor going and electrics are good so i have the light too. I got this from Brian's toys. It was sold as MIB. so as you can see the toy is MIB ( well "sort of" since i had to break it apart ), the cockpit window is just slightly yellowed and the stickers are not applied and i will not apply them. I want to conserve it has is. I did not want to break it apart to get the motor going but i had no choice. It has a nice sound too. I did not get this for dirt cheap, but considering the perks of this purchase i am glad i did now. MIB toy that works, not yellowed, mint stickers and electric that actually works and the parts are not rusted... i would say this is pretty good overall. The box as it defects but it is still highly desirable. I also get a free ROTJ catalog i was looking for. Strangely both wings have slight burn marks. I guess they decided to let it pass at QA anyways since they knew that stickers would cover this. It seems that mold may have burned the wings just so slightly.

| original Canadian coloring books. These books hold a very special place in my heart because my mother bought those when the movie came out. Several copies for me and my brothers and we colored away in amazement of the pictures inside. Sadly we never got to see the movie when it originally came out , my father and mother were not big on the movie scene at that time, but she was gracious enough to get those for us when i saw them at a local shoppers drug mart ( Canada ) and to be honest these were the first star wars pictures i ever saw at the time so these were burned in my mind forever. so Thanks Mom for this. love u! The books below are ones i bought on ebay , not the original ones i got when i was a kid. They are in tip top shape and uncolored to boot! Got these one from nice lady in USA who had all four of them. Games: Cards: Blue set: Landspeeder:
