| Correct me if im wrong but are starcases made in the US.
Iwant to try and get a few but I dont need many. At the moment I need 2 but I would maybe like another 3 so 5 in total incase I get another 3 more MOC's.
where can I get some of these in this quantity for a cheap price?
There are 4 which are used on the bay now for £8.48 but im not sure if they are expensive. I think they are and there used anyway!
Any advice? |

| I bought all the ones I had from The Earth. You can get deals on them from them. £8.48 is cheap for 4 of them. |

Both came out to around $2.00 each. The Earth has them for $1.50 each or 10 for $14.00. Brians Toys has them for $1.99 each. |

| Ahh if your in the US then probably best to just buy them from the earth direct. Its UK that has a problem as shipping isnt cheap from the US and can get stung with import taxes as well |

| Speaking of starcases I need to get a few some of mine are tatty.
I also view a starcase as one of the best methods of protecting an ungraded moc during postage obv soem foam peanuts or similar inside the bubble gives that extra potection to the bubble as well.
When ever I buy mocs off forums they come with starcases 99.9% of the time but when I buy off ebay the chance of getting a starcase is smaller.

| Luckily you don't need many , I am sure one of the UK guys have a few spare, perhaps try Burnsy ?
I do have a few spare as I just got my oscar cases but I like to keep hold of them as there are always occasions when I buy MOC without and resell so its always handy to have a few spare.
I would say if you don't intend to buy many more MOC figures then just try to pick up the two that you need from one of the forum guys or just post a WTB *(if you haven't already)
If you go for more in the future then buy in bulk, there used to be a few places on ebay.uk that did them but to be honest not many, they were quite low in numbers even years back and I got most of mine just from buying MOC that were shipped with one. |

| Star cases are really the cheapest option you have to be honest, consider a case from oscar/AFA will cost you $14-16 each time it all depends on what you want them for , star cases are great for storage and occasionally display but are only lightweight plastic and are a little ugly.
Acrylic cases are more for display and are really well built but costly, great for a small run of MOC that are going on display, it gets expensive when you have a load of them.
I guess the best thing is outline what you really want and ask yourself if MOC collecting is something you are interested in doing in the future. |

It is definatly a route I will go after I have my full loose set. Its a very expensive route I must say but I do plan on getting some. I would prefer the oscar cases as they do look better but the price is rediculous just to display a carded figure. If you had a full collection you would have to spend hundreds of pounds/dollars on plastic cases. But i suppose if you spent a few thousand pounds on a figure you can afford the plastic cases |
