Has anyone heard of a textured Lando bespin cape like the one pictured....screams repro to me but just want a couple of second opinions on it.

I've certainly not encountered one like that before. I have several Lando variants, and they all have the 'standard' cape.
It screams repro to me too.

Does anyone know how common the fatcheeked Lando (right) is. Is it unique to Tri-logo? Palitoy?

I realize it's relative, but any thoughts are welcomed. I just recently stumbled upon it and those fat cheeks made me laugh. The crappy cellphone pic doesn't do them justice. It like he's got two tennis balls in his mouth.

The COO is removed (type 6 in the COO-guide).

I suspect that's a factory defect.

I don't think any figure ( with very few exceptions) are unique to Palitoy or Tri logo. I suspect this 'euro' version is relatively common outside of the US.

1. Thank you. I would have thought so too if I hadn't seen what I suspect is the same figure here:

Number two from the left, stated no COO and "wider head". I can't be 100 % from the picture, but at least you can see that his cheeks point out while they're sunk in on your Lando.

2. As for no unique Palitio or Tri logo-figures, the COO-guide sometimes state "Palitoy" on a certain COO-picture. Do you know then if this should be understood as "all figures that came in Palitoy-MOC:s had this COO, but also other ones"? I have always thought it meant "only Palitoy", but of course it is reasonable to think that different packages don't correspond entirely to different variations in the figure itself.

As you can tell I know less about this than I should, I'd appreciate any insights that you can provide or a link to a thread or site where I can learn more. Thanks.

1) It is possible there are slightly different head sizes:

Koit's site has many great pictures but some of the detail it goes into IMO are just factory errors/not significant.
2) Ignore the labels on the COO guide. It hasn't been updated in years.

Since it's more about cheek size than head size I guess a factory error is the best guess. I'll sell it on Ebay as "exploded head version" and see what happens

Here's my collection of Euro coo's (all have different scarred areas (yes, anal - i know).....
You will see june, that they are all like yours except one....top row middle has distinct blue legs
compared to all the others grey/blue legs. There are some subtle paint app differences also.
This figure i am more comfortable calling a pbp variant as he can be found in spain but also in france
(like a lot of other pbp/pbp mould figures) but, i have never seen this figure in the uk where a lot
of trilogo/pbp variant figures often crop up.

Wow, so there's at least 11 different deep coo scars for this figure.

Do all pbp Landos have black necks or do some still have the brown painted neck?

I could be mistaken But I think it is only the Poch Lando variant that has a black neck,whether all Poch Lando's have a black neck, I'm not sure.

My PBP Lando has a brown neck, but there does seem to be quite a lot of variation, in colour, to the neck and hands even amongst regular kenner Lando's.
They also have different shades of trouser colour, my PBP Lando has lighter, more violet trousers compared to my other Landos, but the difference doesn't show up all that well in the pic.

All of these guys have different coloured hands and necks compared to one another, the I.L2a Lando has a particularly dark neck, but it is still a Kenner figure.
