We have rules regarding this type of activity. You can certainly offer it for sale here (not link to an auction) but you also have to be an active member of the forum with 40 posts.

If you see a lot of SW come through your hands, please by all means be a regular member here. We have an amazing brain trust, and there is little we can't answer.

Good luck on the auction itself though. It's a rare item for certain, but IMHO priced over it's value.

I search Rebelscum and didn't see any post about this figure. It certainly wasn't me if something was posted. Not only am I not "peddling" it there, but nor am I here. I was told by a friend not to join Rebelscum, but to try here instead, so I joined and posted seeking information and multiple people asked for pictures. I had already posted the auction however because I found the information I needed. When the second person asked for the pictures. I posted a link to it. I would hardly consider that peddling.

Yes, we do get a lot of Star Wars in, most of which we are able to get information on ourselves. This one was exceptionally difficult.

I guess I do have one other question. We have a "Special Preview" purple ticket pass to the Star Wars Movie in Chicago on May 26, 1977. The date for a "preview" pass seems interesting. Does anyone here know anything about the exact release dates in different parts of the country (if they were different)? Everything we find shows that the movie was released a day earlier on May 25. Any ideas?

I edited my post because I don't want to influence anyone on their buying decision when it comes to value. It's certainly rare, and in those instances value really becomes what someone will pay for it , good luck on it.

As for the ticket, I'm not sure. I'm moving the thread to the main section, maybe you'll get better answers there. Very cool to have a ticket from where it all began!

1. I thought the 40 post thing kicked in next month? Should I pull my WTB until then or I hit 40? Sorry if I read the rules wrong....
2. Why can't someone established post their own eBay links? I understand you don't want to be flooded with onetime posters advertising their auctions but why couldn't someone who has 200 posts link to eBay? I have some answers on my own but wanted to hear what the official word is.

On topic. - cool PBP Luke but I would be surprised if someone took the opening bid, especially with the bumps and bangs in it. I'm comparing to other MOC PBPs, I'm not sure just how rare the Luke is. Toxictoys (Andy) on Rebelscum would be my go to guy on this though. Are you here Andy?

Kevin the 40 post rule is for new users immediately with a grace period for existing members (the July 1st part).

We generally dont like auction links unless there is a set price affixed or a price you'd be willing to end the auction for. If you post an auction link, but say that you'd stop it for $XX then no issues.

I was thinking the no eBay auction thing was put in place to keep this as more of its own community. It may help giving members in here a headsup on an auction they may otherwise miss. I like your stance of being able to stop the auction at a set price or having the BIN...makes more sense then outright saying no eBay.

Back on topic - I messages Andy on RS to see if he could reply here. He taught me quite a bit about PBP so he might be able to give some better answers on numbers, rarity etc.
