Realised I left a cardback out of my last Harbert picture, I have 5 now:- Added Walrusman to my PBP with offer run:- Added a Polish bootleg cardback. There's only one of these for all figures, but a couple of colour variations:- And Gerald Home aka Squidhead signed a Kenner cardback for me:- Jason

Congrats on the latest, love the Polish cardback. Was it good meeting Gerald Home? He came across as very enthusiastic for his role in SW and seemed a real gent on the interview he did for the Vintage Rebellion pod not long back.

The start of a new sub focus! There are 2 types of German cardback. The first type has a V shaped pointy tab and has 'STAR WARS ACTION FIGURES Collect all 45 on the back. The second type has a U shaped rounded tab and the text missing on the back of the card. Almost all used cardbacks are the ones with the text missing. Of my almost complete run, only 1 is of the first type. A lot of MOCs are the first type, as this seems to be stock left over that Toy Toni used to make his fake MOCs. Anyways, I picked up a first type for one of my many second types. As well as the tab being different on this figure/card, its also says (Hoth Outfit) in brackets beneath Leia Organa. I guess that was more English text that was removed. The backs show the English text that was removed. Jason

Jason, just to clarify since I don't follow the toy Toni affair, the first the that Toni used was a card back that can also be found on authentic factory examples correct? So some true factory examples of that card back exist, or are they all some sort of print error replaced thing and that's how tin got his hands on them?

I originally thought that all the ones Toni had were with English text, but it is a 50/50 split in practice. Almost all used cardbacks are without English text. The ones with English text are almost always found as MOC, and almost all of those are Tonis in my experience. cheers Jason |

This one has been a long long time coming. It's only the Lobot to finish my German ESB run of 45 cards! And here they all are together. Thanks to Jonathan Gladwell for the heads up on this card! Jason
