I am contemplating looking into buying a DT lightsaber down the road and i was wondering if anyone had any input on what you should really pay for such a thing.

I am not really looking into the Luke or Ben or Darth figure that would come with it but rather the lightsaber itself. Probably just the Luke LS anyways.

any thoughts? I have seen resent sale for a luke with hid DT saber going for 300, 400, 500$ samolians....so i guess just the saber itself should cut the price in half i would assume... ?

I would say the saber is at least 75% of the price. Current price I'd expect to be $250-$350+

I'd go as far as saying that 90% of the value is in the DT Saber for Luke and 99% of the value for Vader or Ben.

Take the cost of the figure and, at most, take off $20 for the figure itself. The lightsaber is almost all the value. Even when it's graded , the saber determines most of the overall grade. If you have a perfect figure but the saber is a little beat, the grade will be lower.

I'd say a Luke Saber could be $300 and up, Vader $2000 and up and Ben $3000 and up. These are for complete sabers too, not broken filiments, sabers with cuts on the mold line, etc..
