I hate coming here to ask this question, but I just want to be sure what I am buying. I am not very familiar with the Ledy figures and I never owned one. I always wanted one of these because it is my favorite SW Character and with the removable rocket makes it that much cooler. With that being said, I have the chance to get one at what I think is a fair price. But it is coming from Mexico and I just want to be sure. If anyone can help me, that would be great. I hope I don't offend anyone by asking for some help. Here are some pics.

After I investigated reading some posts here and in RS and asking some fellow collectors I have learned a little about how to recognize a RR Fett, then you will need a better photo from Boba's backpack hole and from the missile, then check if both don't have signs to be damaged when the rocket was removed from the backpack and also the rocket must be clean without any glue residues.

hi mate i have seen this for sale allreddy i won't say where because you want to buy it

it is a ledy boba fett but as for a RR boba fett it is imposible to tell from them pictures

you need close up pictures of the rocket and close up pictures of the inside of the socket

there should be no marks at all on the rocket or the socket they need to be very clean

and even with close up pictures i still would not buy from a unknown person it is just too risky on something like this

if you really do want one of these i would start by asking ozio or merlin or christian to get you one trusted sellers

thanks jase for the advise. I am trying to be carefull when buying one. I know Merlin had a couple of them, but its just more than I can afford right now. But they are nice! I don't know this seller, but he knew I was looking for one. He seems a little pushy with it. But price isn't to low that its too good to be true. But thank you for letting me know what to look for. I am waiting for some better pics to come back from the seller.

Why not ask the seller to send the figure to AFA and let it graded. You offer to pay for the grading and extra shipment costs whether the piece is legit or not in the end.

If the seller is not willing to do so for such an expensive piece, you can draw your own conclusions....

I totally agree with that. And I think its a great idea. But the seller says he needs the cash now. I told him the only way I can do it is with paypal. Says he doesn't have paypal and wants me to send it western union. I am totally not comfortable with that. I feel bad for asking for the pics but not being able to go through with the sale, but its a lot of money to spend. Don't know the seller. Here is a few more pics that he did send me though. Still not the greatest pics. Looks like they have been taken with a phone.

I am, I am I told the seller, if he wants to sell it that bad, send it to me for verification. I gave him my ebay feedback, etc. I am 99.9% sure he won't do that. But it was worth a shot. I am out though But its better than being out the money.

Yeah it's a scam, who doesn't have paypal in this hobby.

Yeah, I know they can use paypal in Mexico. I had many customers buy things from me from Mexico using paypal. I know some people still don't use it. And that is cool. But I think if he needed to sell it bad enough, he could have signed up for it. And then accepted it. I dont trust Wester Union with a $1.

Yeah it's not hard to get paypal. I've never used Western Union but of what I have heard it's very often used by scammers.
