| Hi skywalkerhu, that is a cool ad, I hope you find the other one Hi yeah-sus, that poster rocks Hi Darthberizing, thanks for those cool pictures. Can you see if the figures look like normal kenner figures ? those cards are so cool It could be cool to see if the AT-AT commander is packed with the hoth rebel rifle and luke in hoth battle gear is with bespin blaster as on the backside of the cards. |

| Sorry Lars, I don't think so... The photos have been inconsistant from time to time As for the variants, they look normal to me but I'll admit I'm not a variant guy |

| Thanks Darthberizing, so they have just placed some wrong weapons on the figures and then took some pictures and used them on cardsbacks
But thanks again for all the help. |

My questions is on the backside the figures have different weapons than the kenner figures, why ? are they also packed like that from the factory ?
Is there german figures on the german cards ? like meccano figures on some meccano cards, PBP figures on PBP cards etc. etc. ?
1. No, they werent packed like that! 2. There is no "german figures" 3. There is no "Meccano figures". There is some figures that only appeared on french Trilogos, but these werent produced by Meccano! 4. You can also find LL and other imported stuff on PBP cards. Not every PBP card contains a PBP produced figure!!! 5. The YPS figures also wasnt produced in Germany!! |

| Here's my German double-stem bubble Stormtrooper. I just couldn't pass up having a Stormtrooper that was sold in Germany. I also have a Japanese Tskuda Emperor's Royal Guard because I think matching up the influence for the character and the packaging is cool. And man those YPS bagged Snowies are awesome AJ! I would love to have a sealed one!!! |

| Just for the record:
All these ESB German cards were packaged in the UK, like the ESB Clipper and the Palitoy ESB 45 Back "B" (without logo). At the time, Palitoy was in chage to pack all these blisters with Far-East imported figures for European countries.
The first batch of German ESB carded figures wore on the back: "STAR WARS ACTION FIGURES, Collect all 45!" in english!!! Something no very appropriate for the German market. So they removed the sentence from the back in the next batch of production.
Last, General Mills is a general term to design these german card, but the headquarter of General Mills in Germany was also in charge of departments like food, fashion and goods. The toys department was led by Parker Spiel und Spielzeug, even if at some point, and during the Star Wars era, they used the "Kenner" term as sub-category. But at the end, it was always "Parker" Germany.
Hope that helps,
JC |

It's like that on many of the cardbacks, not only these german cards. The 45-back has the same photo as US Kenner. German 45-back Kenner ESB 45-back. |

| Come on Lars, you got to be kidding me. How could you think this 45 cardback was exclusive for Germany? That these were possible German figures? Spending 2 minutes on your own site, I found dozens of Palitoy 45 backs in no time. Below are just a few of them. So from your own cards you could conclude, that these were no German figures. Sorry I don't want to be an ass, but sometimes I have problems understanding the background behind your questions. Please think before asking, maybe that would lead to a lower frequency of Pomse posts, but at the end of the day it is not about quantity but quality. And belief me by doing so, other members will learn to respect you much more for having a great website with variants/COOs/cardbacks, and for asking relevant questions from which we all can learn something. Ok forget about it, and move on, nothing to see here. http://pomse2001.dk/Vintage/The%20Empire%20Strikes%20Back/Vintage%20Bespin%20Security%20Guard%20%28White%29/Bespin%20Security%20Guard%20%28White%29%2002.JPG http://pomse2001.dk/Vintage/The%20Empire%20Strikes%20Back/Vintage%20FX-7%20%28Medical%20Droid%29/FX-7%20%28Medical%20Droid%29%2035.JPG http://pomse2001.dk/Vintage/The%20Empire%20Strikes%20Back/Vintage%20Han%20Solo%20%28Hoth%20Outfit%29/Han%20Solo%20%28Hoth%20Outfit%29%2007.JPG http://pomse2001.dk/Vintage/The%20Empire%20Strikes%20Back/Vintage%20Imperial%20Stormtrooper%20%28Hoth%20Battle%20Gear%29/Imperial%20Stormtrooper%20%28Hoth%20Battle%20Gear%29%20103.JPG http://pomse2001.dk/Vintage/The%20Empire%20Strikes%20Back/Vintage%20Luke%20Skywalker%20%28Bespin%20Fatigues%29/Luke%20Skywalker%20%28Bespin%20Fatigues%297.JPG http://pomse2001.dk/Vintage/The%20Empire%20Strikes%20Back/Vintage%20Princess%20Leia%20Organa%20%28Bespin%20Gown%29/PRINCESS%20LEIA%20ORGANA%20%28Bespin%20Gown%29%2043.JPG http://pomse2001.dk/Vintage/The%20Empire%20Strikes%20Back/Vintage%20Rebel%20Soldier%20%28Hoth%20Battle%20Gear%29/REBEL%20SOLDIER%20%28Hoth%20Battle%20Gear%29%2098.JPG |

I love it! Very well done post! Kudos! Sorry again if that sounds rough....but I think its really the time to make some statements here. Its just the best for all members here (Pomse included...like Marco already said)!! All some of us wants is: 1. Common sense 2. A bit thinking....and reflecting. 3. Use the search function We are all here to help, but some questions are just nonsense....a waste of time to all of us! |

| Hi Marco, yes I can see that I have had taken pictures of them. But I have never looked that much at them to see that the figures did not have the same weapons. After I bought the princess leia cardback, then I looked at my other cardbacks and found out I also had other german cardbacks that I have had taken pictures of years ago, without again looking that much at them to know they were german. Sometimes the things are going to fast for me and it can happen to anybody. I am not here to get respect and I do not have the site to get respect. I am here to have fun, learn, share and help. The only reason I have the site is to help other collectors. I missed a site 11 years ago about star wars toy when I begun to collect. So that is why I have it. Hi wolff, did you see I did not get angry, if marco had writen this message to you. You would have got pretty angry and there is no need to be angry |

| Hi Lars, My post was meant to provide you some feedback, so you can improve the quality of your posts/threads in the future. In this way we can maintain TIG an interesting, exciting, and fun forum for all members not only for you. And off course this take home message is not only meant for you, whom the cap fits, let him wear it. This thread was just the famous last droplet, and I can assure you that I have a large bucket. Also nothing personal, you are an OK chap and I think you can deal with it, it is just strictly business. I care about TIG, that is the driving force behind my 'intervention'. Cheers Marco |
