Walrus Man tusk paint question. Empty
PostSubject: Walrus Man tusk paint question.   Walrus Man tusk paint question. I_icon_minitimeMon Mar 19, 2012 10:40 pm

Hi Guys,

I was looking at the other walrus man threads and did not really find and answer to something that has been bugging me lately. I need to get myself a walrus man but the tusks seems to always be the trouble spot on him, so here is a real question:

I saw many on ebay that had 2 little green circles on the tusks instead of being completely painted and i was wondering if this is a variant or something else. Personally i think it is a rub off against bubble while being shipped kinda thing but the discoloration or paint jobs sometimes looks too crafted for it to not be a variant. there is a ton of him on ebay but just want to make sure i by him as close as he was meant to be.

Can anyone clarify this for me? I am almost done with the first 21, but i have to get to walrus man, death squad commander and death star droid ( and blue snaggy if you want to count him in). But all of these are hard to find pristine and i am a way too much of a perfectionist for my own good so i need to pick up a close to mint figure all the time.

Show us a picture of these 'green circles'
Yes the tusk paint is fragile so finding a truely mint example is a job ( just like the Death Star Droid)
