OK, its sunday AM, kids are at my sisters, wife is passed out in bed, so its a great time to start digging through these figures right?

Just to keep everyone up to date, Friday I got the big lot of figures in and a seperate Bespin Luke that I had purchased prior to winning this lot for $4 because I need the lightsaber for my brown haired version, and he had a bespin blaster which I needed for my Lando with no teeth.

Well, when going through the lightsaber section here on the boards, I noticed that I had a few different sabers


These 2 in particular:


One of them has the potential to be a LL if I am not mistaken, so I started looking at differences in the figures and to my surprise, the one I purchased for $4 has a 2 leg COO


I dont know what this means, there was not a section for Bespin Luke in the LL guide

Hmmm, mine clearly says Hong Kong on th e left leg, but it has a different saber than what the others do. It matches either the LL or the PBP Luke saber shown in the lightsaber section, I am not that good at identifying the small differences to tell 100%

The saber is European, Ledy sabers are the exact same sculpt but much paler in colour, almost translucent, The saber you have could be found on Palitoy, PBP, Tri-Logo cards through out Europe, still much rarer than the standard saber though. The other saber without the depression on the hilt, there are two versions of this, a dark and a bright one, these are both quite hard to come by as well. There is some speculation that at least one of these was European, but the only example I have seen on any kind packet, was actually in a Sears catalogue multipack baggie, which of course was U.S.

Good to know! I guess I will be putting a small section aside for the foreign items!
