I saw a review of a guy who has every version of R2 ( minus early bird ) from the original trilogy. he goes on and on about how they are great and i agree with him but he says at the end that the one he loves the most is the droids version one.

I looked the droids version up on ebay and he seems to be a rare fellow...is that the case? the only one i saw was carded and the other was AFA...so it is a little bit out of my league.

I like the little rascal..i might build an army of him.

I got another r2 today actually he is whiter than my first one. not bad but not perfect. I will keep an eye out for a minty white one when i have some spare cash. I also won a sensor scope version a few days ago. I know its not gonna be that great since the decal looks a bit dirty but i got him for dirt cheap in the end. so i will have 3 r2 soon. but ill need that little droids one...hope i can find one down the road....

just to ad that a guy had an auction about a week or so ago and over 90% of his action figure were dead mint as per the photos. of course you can easily guess that people were just scrambling to get his stuff! i would say he made a nice pile of cash with that auction... wish i could have gotten my hands on some of his stuff..i tried for a few low price things that i thought no one would care off but at the end i got snipped on several figures and by huge amounts of money too...

They arent all that rare, just more expensive. They pop up every now and then on Ebay or the classys here and RS.

I know when I was looking for my R2 and 3PO it was pretty hard to find a loose one. Plenty of MOC's that were way over priced but none loose. I sold them both on RS a few months ago along with all the other Droids figures...
