Hi ya'll - I'm a serious Re-Re when it comes to Ledy figures. I was bidding on this lot on Ebay, and since there are so many Ledy experts here thought I would ask about them.

The burgundy bib looks a bit off to me. The squidy cape looks a bit too orange but the texture seems right. I have no idea about the rocket fett. The jawa looks fine.

Someone educate me, please

I didn't know anything about this guy. I decided to bid, figuring I wouldn't have much to lose (i.e. I just wouldn't pay if the consensus was that the figures were fake). And guess what...I ended up being the high bidder

I'm such a damn noob, its actually somewhat depressing.

Anyways, I am VERY thankful you guys are here to prevent idiots like me from sending paypal to scammers. I figured this was too good to be true anyways.

No problem, glad you didn't send any money- one thing is for sure, you are new and when you are green (and I mean that in the nicest way possible- we all were once) you should research pretty much everything, especially when it comes to big money purchases, it's still pretty cool to know you turned on to collecting after finding some of your childhood figures and here you still are but that wasn't that long ago so you have plenty of time to get some good deals and some real nice items - just take it slow

Yes, point well taken, Joe! I did try to do my research but you can only learn so much with photos. Unless I see and touch these figures in person, I don't think one can get a very good grasp on how to identify the fake ones.

I would have loved to post the auction while it was going on, but you know, out an auction and everyone wants to cut your head off

This lot would have been a mother load for flipping, that's why I was going for it. After all, I need funds for all those Uzay's that nobody is selling

There are some good minds to pick when it comes to Ledy if you are interested in similar auctions in the future- Wolff (wbobafett) I am sure would check things out for you, HWR on RS has a full set of Ledy as well all bought from reputable sellers and also MR_Ledy (Christian) is a very nice guy over on RS and I think here as well that will give you a fair assessment on items.

That auction just ended.$2830.I feel sorry for whoever bought the stuff.

oh yes second that one buddy on the RR fett and the burgundy bib nice red stiching there those 2 were defently fake

hard to tell i think with the jawa if it was real or not but going by his track record it will have been fake

so that leaves the ccp and the burgundy squid

the ccp who knows not a close enough pic of the blaster and com so put tham down as kenner then

i think the only one that might have been ok was the burgundy squid head did looked on the light side but could have been sun fading but the rest of it looked good, still over a grand for a squid head a tad on the expencive side

because as for the rest they were all rough as fooooook looked like they had been in 10 rounds with tyson

Also from the pic i can see the green cape squid is a Kenner cape.

I could go on with the blem's and blue's about this guy but he's not worth any of my attention,Jess is a complete Scammer,straight up.

I was discussng this auction with Dan the other day, and I think he has already passed you some substantial evidence for some fake expensive Ledy figures in this lot, which you might need to cancel the deal. No need to discuss these again.

In addition I have doubts about at least some figures within the 'normal' -cough cough - LL price range:

• Nikto: too dark face, too dark armour, too white arms
  
• Rancor Keeper: figure seems OK, but the hood looks too light grey, can not say much about the staff, it is hardly visible on the pics.
  
• B-Wing Pilot: matt instead of glossy brown boots
  
• Leia Boushh: Matt instead of glossy dark brown arms. Unfortunately we can not see her face on the pics, she should have a tanned face.
  
• Chewie's eyes can tell you the difference between a Ledy or European no COO figure. Unfortunately, there is no close up pic provided where you can see Chewie's head clearly enough to make a distinction. Hmmm.....

Maybe it helps you further.

unfortunatly not ebay just don't give a shit as long as they are making money

it's not just this lot of ledys on ebay that are not right more than half of ledys on ebay are not even ledys or the weapons are not ledy most of the people on ebay just look at the coo and say that will do it's ledy and list it as sutch just makes me laugh
