| That Man Thing cover is a 2nd printing variant cover for Thunderbolts. Just cant stay away from variants in anyway can I? My dad and brother-in-law said it was too cold to do anything. Which it is, cant run strings to check the walls this windy either. Itll be nicer next week to work on it, so I got playtime this weekend. |

| Mike those London Horrors are cool. Something else to add to the want list. Just what I needed, another damn enabler. Paul, looks like we are getting you hooked too now. The Creepys are in great shape. The Danish ones are nice. Even though I cant read them, Id still like to get a few runs from all over the world. |

| Mike the London Horror books look like they would be a great read. Killer covers. And Paul those Creepy issues covers remind me of old pulp magazines from the 30s and 40s. Nice pickups. And Chris it doesn't surprise me you want can be talked into picking up the London Horror books. Anyone who can pick up girlie comics and show them in public will buy anything. |

| Sweet finds, guys!
For my two cents, I really like Winter Soldier. It has a cool spy/espionage feel to it that only Brubaker can bring. |

| More reviews.I decided to have a little fun and do reviews of the comics I picked up yesterday. Now my reviews would drive anal comics scholars crazy. Becasue I don't get into the silly crap like how the story relates to the world in general and the subliminal geo political statements the writer is trying to make. Meh, who gives a flying monkey shit?? Also I don't get all gushy about the writer or the artist. I don't really pay attention to that either. Nor the guy doing the lettering or the colors. Or who the fucking editor is. Again who cares. Its a comic book, not some piece of high brow literature. It for fun. I'll just say if I liked the book or not and soemtimes (if I'm not feeling lazy) I'll even go a little into why I liked it. Read Scarlet Spider #1 last night. AWESOME!!!!!! If they can keep the following issues as good as the opening one, I'll be reading this one faithfully. Lone Ranger #2 was solid also. Better than #1. I think it will be really strong as it gets rolling. Avenging Spider-Man #1 was good enough I'll grab issue 2 to see how the story turns out. First Spidy related title I've picked up since "The Great Paul Comics Revival Of 2011". And it's good, made me laugh. which is what Spidy is for in my eyes. The wise cracking Web Slinger. AND the book has RED HULK in it. So yeah Chris rip yours out of it's bag and read it. It'll be ok the world won't stop rotating if you open it Pomse will still be your friend Hell the cat napped on mine after I read it. Incredible Hulk #5- It hurts me to say that the previous 4 issues left me a little unhappy with the direction of TIH since the numbers returned to single digits. But I think it's just one of those stories where the book needs to gather steam. Issue 5 is getting back rolling in the right direction for me. They changed artists.....I think. As stated above I don't pay attention to that stuff. But the art seems much better the last two issues. Anyway me like and I think it'll get better from here. AND NOW FOR TAD BECAUSE HE HAS BEEN BUGGING ME FOR A MONTH ABOUT THIS TITLE: I read the first two issues of Penguin: Pain and Prejudice. Only the first two because I got sleepy last night. TAD IT WAS AWESOME!!!! so far. There happy I read some of the damn thing. The story is cool and the art is amazing. I recommend that all TIG Comicey Belivers run out not walk out and buy it and read it and tell Tad how asesome it is. And that's it for now. I still have to read the rest of the pile. |

Szymon Kudranski, Gregg Hurwitz, and I forget who the inker is. Paul, it's about damn time you read that awesomeness. At least the first two issues anyway. Slacker. |

| There I read the whole damn thing this afternoon. It was well worth the wait. I recommend Penguin to anyone interested in picking it up. Awesome. Nicely drawn by Whats His Name, Inked beautifully by Some Dude, and wonderfully lettered by Whosiemawhatsit. It ouwld be cool if they did other Batman villians like this. Love to Dr. Hugo Strange done this way. |

Totally! I think this is to Penguin, what "The Killing Joke" was to the Joker. Just really well done and makes you see the character in a whole different light. And Whatsisname is a badass artist. I liked how dark the entire thing was. Just mostly shadows and silhouettes. Wah-Wah-Wah! (That was my penguin impression.) Also, I really liked Amazing Scarlet Spider, too. Although I'm still confused as hell on the entire clone BS. But it's another cool book. I think it's way better than Amazing Spider-Man is right now. |
