the 40 post rule is only applicable for making a For Sale. You should be able to have full posting rights seven days from your registration date.

Jason, you can post pics very easily once you have them uploaded to a photo hosting site, like Photobucket. See the pic below.

Hey all, just a note to introduce myself.

Star Wars fan and collector since the beginning, I still have most of the toys I started accumulating in 1978 (sadly my Mum threw out the cardbacks but I still have my VC Jawa!)

Have been out of the hobby for 12 or so years but the passion has reignited and I'm getting back into it by picking up some boxed stuff I missed out on the first time around.

BTW, my nick refers to another hobby of mine, collecting vintage "tool" watches like divers and pilot's and military watches

Hi folks,
Im new to this forum, but have been an underground Star Wars collector for about six years. My loft soon got full, so I decided to concentrate on smaller items. Coins seemed to fit the bill, and now I find myself the owner of hundreds of varied Star Wars related coins. Like most coin collectors the most fun I had was collecting the entire 62 POTF coin set. I found a very good contact in the USA who not only secured me a Gold adonized 63rd coin, but a Luke Pitch coin too! I am still after various alt backs, prototypes to add to my collection. I also have various duplicate POTF coins.

no, I am not on Facebook at all. It is one of those things I have managed to avoid for all these years. Would it be worth joining Facebook to join the group? I probably would if I could remain anonymous from the rest of the world.

Like yourself I avoided facebook until recently. After a year of Tim (Tank1252) annoying me my wife helped me join up.
I am sure there is privacy settings to keep yourself anonymous. Truthfully joining facebook has been great, I've caught up with people I haven't spoken to for over 10+ years

When I get a minute Ill look into opening a Facebook account. I suppose with most people having a smartphone communication is instant, it makes things a hell of a lot easier to post pictures of your collections etc.

Thanks for the advice about the book. I did buy it as soon as it was out! Great book, the best avaliable.
Shame it did not cover the weight of the coins. I really wanted to know the weight of the Luke Pitch coin, if anyone else has one.
Mine is "heavy" compared to the released coins, but this did not concern me too much as being a prototype the blanks for the released coins would not have even been made. Also I know that the original owner was an ex Kenner employee.
