Am a long time Star Wars collector, never stopped since 1977
I stumbled on this forum yesterday after searching for acrylic cases, and kept reading al these nice topics about vintage stuff.
Have not collected any vintage stuff the last 9 years or so, mostly concentrating on Gentle Giant and eFX items nowadays.

Do have some carded Lily Ledy and a few loose ones.

Have done some contributions to the Kellerman book and the SWCA ( wich all but one have dissapeared there )

Hello to all my fellow Tigger’s and Star Wars fans reading this.:-D

I have decided to write a quick self introduction as I have been a member of the site for a while now, chiming in here and there with the odd question or two, but have started to buy some figs from fellow members on the site and I am also planning on started my own “for sale” thread, so I feel the need to share some background on myself and my love for Star Wars with everyone so I guess if we make a transaction or share info in the future we won’t feel like total strangers, plus you’ll know my feedback history and love for the hobby.

I am 29, live in a southern suburb of Perth in Western Australia and have been in love with the Star Wars Universe since I was 6 and my older brother gave me a bunch of old figs that were his when he was my age (he’s 12 years older than me).

Having owned the original trilogy on VHS (which he also gave me and I watched them until they were ruined) and now with a bunch of figs to start my collection, there was no stopping me.

This was back in 1989 – 1990 so no Ebay or internet to help with filling the gaps in the collection, it was all swapmeets, garagesales and toy markets and pleading with my mum to either drive me or let me catch the bus to get to these markets and spend my hard earned money on a few more figs.

Luckily there was a local market open weekends and at this market was a guy that had a VINTAGE STAR WARS shop.

Glass cabinets full of figs and rigs and ships and creatures and all the vintage star wars toys a kid (and now as an adult) could dream of.

A lot of my collection back then came from this shop and the cool thing was you could trade and sell Vintage star wars items to him aswel.

Over the years I guess interest fell and one time I went to the markets the shop was GONE!
My interest in star wars figs started to fall aswel and as a teenager I begun to find new and more exciting things to spend my money on!

But in my early 20’s I discovered ebay and one day decide “hey, I wonder if anything will come up if i type in vintage star wars........” BANG That was it...and I have been collecting religiously since!!

Like everyone I guess the first thing to do was to complete a loose figure collection, once I had done that I moved into COO variants and Mould variants, which lead me to TIG, and have been there ever since.

Hi, walkie here from the UK. 36 years old and a star wars fan since I could walk!

I remember when Christmas wasn't Christmas without star wars on the telly, and I was lucky enough to watch ROTJ at the cinema fist time round.

Unfortunately all my original toys were sold when my parents emptied the loft at the old house, a part from one Luke be spin sabre which takes pride in place in my collection. Something original from my childhood!

I've been collecting vintage star wars toys since 2004, and after a short break i'm back. I have a full set of loose 3.75" figures including the droids and ewoks range except sise fromm but he's on my to get list.

I've managed to collect most of the major variants including lili ledy, pbp and glasslite. However I'm not a fan of collecting coo variant's so I give them a miss.

I also have a set of 70+ carded figures, I've concentrated on getting each figure on there first release or as near as possible, is Luke farm boy 12 back. For some reason I also started collecting the loose vehicles and have a full set packed away. However I recently sold all my play sets like the sears cardboard ones etc for a nice profit.

Apart from that if your not bored already I have a massive collection of kenner, palitoy, tri-logo, Canadian instruction leaflets.

Hi Guys. I joined this forum yesterday, after one of the members bought something from me on SWFUK for the TIG secret santa. It made me want to come and check you out.
I've been a member of SWFUK for a year and RS for 6 months. I recognise plenty of usernames here.
Me? I'm a lifelong Star Wars fan, who is lucky enough to have a really tolerant wife. We have twins, one of whom is a huge (little) fan himself (check the avatar). I'm 37 and have been in the military for a long time.

I'm keen to have a look around this forum and get involved.
