Hello all,
I've just signed on to TIG this week, but am a long-time member of snowtroopers.ca and on-again off-again memeber of RS. My collection was started in childhood, ROTJ was the first SW film I was taken to the theatre to see at age 7, and I still have most of my childhood figures and vehicles but they show heavy wear and tear and yellowing from use and abuse in the backyard a long time ago... I got back into collecting in '99 with the PM release and have stayed with it to varying degrees of dedication since that time. Putting together a 2nd set of loose minty vinty's is still on the horizon for me. My carded vintage collection is now somewhere around the 55 mark with lots of key figures yet to be filled in. I also have a fair sized modern carded collection (pause for vintage purists to make dispariging remarks...), and variety of odds and ends collectables. Thanks in advance for any knowledge and advice I might recieve on this site about the hobby I enjoy to be a part of.

Hi everyone. Been collecting Star Wars and other toy lines since 87ish/88ish. Collection consists of every loose figure, ship, and playset all with their packaging and boxes for several toy lines including Star Wars, 80's Gi Joe, Transformers, and yes, Star Trek! So I have a wide variety of interests and a pretty extensive collection. Also collect odds and ends of lunchboxes, glasses, mego's, and other toy lines from movies and tv shows, etc, etc. Name is Kevin. 38 yrs old. Some of you may know me or recognize my username from RS.

Hi! Thought I'd come by and test the waters here. I'm Kevin Lentz - been collecting vintage Star Wars and other vintage 3 3/4-inch toys since 1992. You may know me from my never-updated webpage The 3 3/4-inch Archives. My used ID on RS and on Ebay is 334archives. I'm active in the Kentucky and Ohio Star Wars collectors clubs. Slowly working on a set of vintage carded (about 30 to go). I'll be at CVI and sitting in on as many collectors' panels as possible. Thanks!

I am the mighty mythical beast known to roam the great north west ... no not big foot I'm a Russquatch a nickname given to me by my niece. A few years back she was about 9 years old ... a family camp out ... my dad had been telling her to watch out for Bigfoot and filled her in on all the Sasquatch stories ... well, I was coming back from a walk ... and I was coming through the bushes ... I guess her eyes got really big and she was a bit freaked out hearing me coming ... that mixed with the fact I'm 6'4" and well I'm a fat dude ... so I'm BIG ... she thought for sure Bigfoot was about to show up in camp ... but she soon realized it was only me ... she said that's not bigfoot or "sashman" (her way of trying to say sasquatch) it's just Uncle Russell ... her mom corrected her saying the name is sasquatch ... she quickly said "hahahaha it's a Russquatch" the name stuck so I use it. I've also been known to go by RussG
so those of you that have been or like me sort of still am part of Rebelscum or megomuseum will know me as RussG ... ebay I'm known as therealrussgpart2 since my ID of therealrussg I couldn't get to work again after an email change etc. etc. etc. but on ebay I am not RussG

Hi Everyone!
I can't even begin to tell you about the most amazing day I've had vintage-wise...
First, my 'Collect All 21' vintage bell display from 1979 arrived today. (Just an early 40th birthday present to myself.)
Second, I'm invited and join TIGF! (Which I've been watching for a while now, but never got around to registering for.)
Amazing day. So happy to be a part of the tribe.
Well, off to familiarize myself the the forum, and specifically start chatting with everyone on the CVI forum. I'll be there Saturday & Sunday of the con. Look forward to meeting some of you there!
Thanks again for having me!

Thanks Chris_J! Much appreciated. I figured I might need to bring just a little 'street cred' to the forum to truly immerse myself in all the goodness here. That and it was such a fortunate day for me yesterday. I've already learned SO much in the past 24 hours. Loving the discoveries here.

Kevin, you dont need street cred here. Your more than welcome without it. I was going to post to you on the bell on the FB group, but got sidetracked with another ordeal.
