Hi Guys
I'm off to a little trip to Berlin . I have been trying to find some vintage shops there . But i can't seem to find any . So i thougt we could make a tread about vintage shops where we could post shops .
I know one in Berlin http://www.outpost-berlin.de
Feel free to chip in guys
Thanks Guys
Soren
So guys i went to Berlin and had a blast there . So i think that i make this thread as a little travel guide where we can post vintage shops and tips around the world . If you just post a link to a shops homepage or mark it on a Google map and ad some info on what they sell. If they don't got an HP . Wich town and contry it is in . Then i wil combine the stuff here on top of the thread , like the focus thread on RS
Belgium: Shop
Denmark: Huste Blå More info from the TIG member Hansole
Antik 77 Copenhagen
Germany: Berlin
Netherlands: Shop
UK: Shop

For Alabama, theres nothing any more. There was 3-4 shops that carried figures and comics, but all of them closed up a few years back.

Here is the only shop that I've found in my area. The Virginia/ DC/ Maryland area.
http://www.thetoyexchange.com/
They don't show much of a selection on line. The last time I was in there he had a good amount of loose vintage SW and some nice Joes. His prices are insane though. He either never wants to sell the stuff or expects to have some haggling over prices.

When i was growing up 30+ years ago in the UK, we were lucky enough to have a large toy/modelling shop (Modellors Loft) just down the road in Caterham, Surrey. Whenever i go back to the UK to visit mum, i always pop in to have a look at thier stuff. Last time i was back (4 years ago) they had a heap of vintage (mainly overpriced, common stuff) but still awesome none the less. I remember my mum (who knows it was one of the main reasons i'd come for a visit) saying they were looking at moving due to high rents a while back. I just googled them & sure enough, they've retired to the seaside!! Looks like Mum'll have to move to Bournemouth before i visit her next!!! Thier website: http://www.modellersloft.co.uk/ I still think it's awesome they're still going at all after all these years.

I met a seller at the Comic Con on Friday that operates a shop called Echo Base Toys in Temple City (more Pasadena area than L.A.) Really nice guy named Dave. Worth giving him a call if you're in the area. He's got some vintage but I'd say his forte is selling minty moc POTF2 for dirt cheap. Not really my bag but there are a few of that crop that I like.

Great idea Soren...
but Dammit I keep getting results for sex toy shops
Well, finally, the nearest vintage toy shop to me - which is actually miles away - is Lulu Berlu in Paris (lol still sounds like a sex toy shop!)
http://www.lulu-berlu.com/dhtml/home.php
Some nice vintage and modern toys - and hopelessly overpriced SW vintage!

Nice find yesterday. Can't believe I didn't spot it sooner.
Hiding in plain sight on the 3rd Street Promenade in Santa Monica is a great toy shop called the Puzzle Box with an impressive collection of vintage for sale. What's most impressive is that all of their pricing on MOC and loose items were right in line with winning ebay auction pricing. Not the typical toy store astronomy.
Yesterday I saw plenty of great items including MOC Anakin, MOC Amanaman, boxed A-Wing Vehicle, MOC Glasslite R2, and a boxed like-new 12" Boba Fett that had been sealed in plexi but not graded (ok, at $1K this one was probably a bit over-priced!).
Anyway, check this guy out if you're in town. It's already smack dab in the middle of a tourism landmark, so your date won't complain too much when you sneak off.

Any of you guys ever visiting Warwick castle in the uk then check this place out. I found it last week after a couple of days that way of the world with the family.
It's only a 10 minute walk from the castle and is small dark and dingy and crammed full of vintage toys from the 60's and 70's - just like how i remember toy shops back in the day
He had lots of vintage moc plus around 100 loose figures plus lots of vintage dr who/thunderbirds etc etc...
SW didn't have prices on them and are probably a bit on the high side judging by the website but absolutely worth a visit

There is a tiny little shop in the Market Vaults, Scarborough, North Yorkshire, it's been there for years and it's called Dax's Toy's, not the best vintage Star Wars stuff, but worth it just to see how many toys one guy can fit in a 12 ft square shop!
I picked up a Hollow Tube Tusken Raider in there for 4 Quid! Not bad
He's currantly got a boxed ROTJ AT-ST for 70 quid and seriously it would probably get an AFA 90 at least!!!!!
