In the coming months i will be completing a focus which i started in 2004, when complete i am not sure what to do next, any idea's? Do i start another focus or do i just randomly collect moc's or is there other idea's that u guys can think off?

| Well realistically there's nothing thats says to jump into another focus. I'd just sit back and relax, wait and see if a focus reveals itself to you. I'm a firm believer in the concept that people just "know" what to collect. I went through a few forced focii and they never stuck. The foreign thing felt right from the beginning and im still doing it. |

| I remember when you were thinking of starting to collect the D&E coins whether to go down that path or collect proofs. Do you still have a liking for proofs? I also think that waiting by the hobby and see what presents itself to you is the best. |

| Congrats on completing your focus! I agree with what has been said. You should let the new focus find you. But you can ask yourself what you liked about the Droids coins. Did you like collecting them because they were Droids? Or because they were unproduced coins? Figuring out why you liked the focus can help you decide on a new one. Good luck in what ever you decide! |

| I agree with John. Just relax and see what "finds" you. When I first started collecting I wanted to collect MOC,loose set, ships, playsets,proofs,MIB,etc,etc,etc.........whew. Space and money put a stop to that quickly . So for a few months in the middle of 2010 I kinda took a little time away and enjoyed the little bit of a collection I had gotten so far. Then I came back at it and stumbled into the world of bootlegs . So I stay with bootlegs with a sideline in an IG-88 focus and completing my loose Kenner set. But I let myself wander completly off corse once and awhile and grab something totally outside any of those areas. I sometimes have to remind myself that it's not a race and there is no competition with anyone. Although when someone gets something really cool, I'm like a five year old and think "He got one of those!!!! I want one too!!!" |

| John hit it on the head ... wait and see what grabs you attention.
If it was me and I finshed the focus with nothing else to immeadiatley to cry for my money, I definatelty would relax for a good while and look on at my achievement and enjoy the feeling of "I did it! - it's complete". I haven't felt that feeling for such a long time now.
Whilst you thinking on what to do next, you can pay off any outstanding bills, or put a little nest egg away, or even take the misses out!
Once you have a few ideas, maybe do a little bit of research on the area to make sure it what you want to go into. |

It's NOT a competition , but a collection of collections. |

Droids Prototype and unproduced coins Now this is something I would love to see! Congrats! Part of the excitement of collecting is finding what really interests you. Good advice on sitting back and enjoying what you have, take a look around and see what's exciting. For me it was the never ending quest for bootlegs which brings plenty of excitement and never really has an end in sight. It will end when I grow tired of them I guess. And I don't see that happening anytime soon. |
