If it goes "inside" the leg its definately a cooling error! If the legs was pulled outr of the mold to early it starts to shorten while cooling...(the short leg versions doevelope like this).

this especially happens to the coo parts because its extended and small.

Ill give an example:

As I told you I tried to remove a coo on a beater fett. After scartching it away I first tried to smooth the area under a lighter.....guess what happend...the coo came back veeeeeery clearly, but indented!

Physics are not so mine...so Ill stop before I ran into sth I cannot explain very well!

Anyway...if the coo is readable but more indented, it is from cooling while out of mold.

(And of course Im only human and can be wrong......anyone else???)

Careful guys, Here is another Taiwan coo Boba faked to look like a no coo. Someone has
also removed the knee paint as well on this one to make it look like an unpainted knee variant

Obviously the seller may/may not be aware of this. He knows what a custom snaggletooth is though as he is selling one in another auction

Anyone care to ask the seller a few questions about this Boba?

I hope this coo faking trend will not rear it's ugly head too much. There are a lot of new variant collectors around in the last year or so that i would not like to see get burned

Lee, I too spotted this one and informed the seller that it had been tampered with and he promptly removed the listing.
I just wish I'd done the same with the other one before it sold for over a hundred pounds

Nice one mate. At least he had the balls to remove it. I wouldn't like to say whether he knew about it or not - he is selling a few custom figs and may/may not have slipped the boba in to see what would happen

At least this one is off the market for now at least

I have seen a few lately as well i have been suspicious of..
BTW the 7 int he HK is dropped - the © on the Mecc and The mysterious Boba with the Clear © similar to the Meccano is slightly larger maybe -.25mm but larger..
I have also seen a few Ledys coming up - that seem to be scraped off coo.s
Personally I don't know what to believe or trust anymore..

Q does the Ledy Boba have the dropped 7 like the other HK figs. ?

My Ledy has the 'dropped' 7 raised 9. Many of the 'scarred' figures have very small raised dots which would be very hard to fake.
