Hi I have just bought this FX-7 and the bottom looks funny.

Have any of you seen this type of bottom before ? Could it be a production error or just broken ?

Looks to me like its broke. Not sure though. Is it moveable? If it is, then I would go with broke.

No I can't move it. I have tried to move it but it is stuck. There is also no damage to see on the figure.

I have also tried to pull the bottom of another figure to see if it is possible. But I could not.

But I think you can't pull it off without make any kind of big damage on the figure.

But I am not total sure.

So I came to you guys for help.

I think It is a production error. But if it is a production error then this one could not be the only one.

I think there's a piece on Rebel Scum, that explains how some people claim there was a short FX-7 variation, but in actual fact it's just the figure with the bottom missing. Just checked, here's the link.

http://www.rebelscum.com/VINtFX7.asp

With the bottom piece simply been glued on, it's probably fare to say it's a production error in the sense it's been glued wrong.

I have also heard about the shorter FX-7 but never seen one. But it could be nice if other collectors have an FX-7 that is glued wrong. Then I would be more
sure that it was an production error.
