| Hi, In order to follow with the intriguing world of Trilogos carded figures, i thought it would be interesting to open a new post with the rarest variations available in this line. Madine or the Jawa are the first to come in mind to the most of us, but they are less known variations out there... Documenting this post with pictures would be gratefully appreciated, so here i go with the first one... - AMANAMAN with Spanish variant bubble: (PBP release - Phase 2)Panastur_JC

| Hi JC,hope you are fine dude I am not a TRI collector but i found this therad Very interested I know its offtopic but i have a question about the figure its self... I have found this Aman-aman figure(the loose one ) in a lot from a childhood collection here in Spain , and i was wondering if the figure was also made in Spain.I mean, the figure inside, is the regular trilogo Aman-aman or do you think that maybe was also made in Spain? The paint job and the colours are different IMO... A picture of a regular TRILOGO Aman- Aman for comparison will be great !! thanks Javi |

It's very interesting isn't it! I think even if some people (like JC) knew of this piece existing it is still being enjoyed by many, in 2011 there aren't too many things left undiscovered so its nice to bring this to peoples attention Extra reading here |

Javi Hi Javi, It's difficult to say. The Amanaman I have on this variant has a mixed paintjob of dented(arms) and smoother weaved paint(Body). The printing process on the figures varies from a job lot to another. Plus, from the beginning of the print process till the end, the rubber erodes slowly and the print goes smoother, then must be changed for a new printer rubber matrix... JC |

I'm really curious whether there is a Flesh painted neck Leia (Bespin Gown) in a similar packaging with this alternate bubble. :?: |

| How rare are are the front stickered Clipper cards JC? This (to date) is the most expensive LJ card I have bought but is it really rare? I was under the impression I paid a premium for the condition. Any other details on the original factory would be great too! EDIT: it also has the white mini-sticker catalogue on the reverse |

| Import stickers are hit and miss on rarity Craig, some people don't even rate them as interesting tbh. The back catalogue is very common on most figures, the front star & back catalogue is a nice combination as they mostly don't have front stickers. I think it's a nice piece whatever you paid, the condition is certainly great and to a focus collector like yourself, the front + back sticker combination is a nice touch. (so in carded terms they aren't super rare but they are cool - don't forget they are only stickers and not a "main" carded variant (i.e theres nothing different about the card compared to another one except the sticker) - I will say its easier to find the larger "common" bubbles on these imports but then again there are a lot of Luke Tri's with the smaller bubble so it might even out ) |
