Hi Guys

As many know its a never ending project to continue to update the weapon accessory reference site at imperialgunnery.com i'm making good progress this year with pics been added pretty much daily but there are still many many gaps that need filling!

I have quite a lot of pictures and items still to add in the coming weeks as well.

To make things interesting im setting a competition for the contirbutors!

In a seperate TIG Forum thread im tracking the new additions and who has made them.

Heres the deal the person who contributes the most pictures between Jan 1st - June 30th in 2011 will recieve a vintage SW prize completely free of charge to thank them for there efforts in supporting the collecting community.

To get involved you need to go to www.imperialgunnery.com and see if you own any weapons / acccessories not currently pictured / documented. If you do then you need to take full size Macro shots on a white background where possible and email them to me (pm me for my personal email i dont like to put it on the web due to spam). If you need photographs tips to ensure you can get usuable results let me know and ill be happy to assit.

All used submissions count i.e Original weapons accessories and well as REPRO weapons / accessories.

Also if there are pictures currently listed on the site that you think you could improve then if accepted these submissions will count as well.

If you would like your name or username included on the picture then let me know in your email and ill be happy to add it to the final edit of your pictures

If the uptake is good and the competition proves successful i will run a new competition for July 2011 - Dec 31st 2011 as well.

Lets all work together on this one to ensure that the weapon accessory variant and repros resource at imperialgunnery can be the best it can possibly be helping all collectors a, stay protected and b, have the help they need when colllecting variations

Please feel free to use this thread to discuss the competition, ask questions relating to submissions etc.

Actually great point John i am also very keen to confirm what MOC's certain weapons came with as well so if someone can provide quality pictures of weapons / accessories in their MOC state (this a a harder challenge photography wise but it can be done) then this will also count

I think Andy's thread regarding his Dark Blue Ben Saber and it been linked to Tri Logo Ben Kenobi's is a great example of how valuable this type of info can be

This competition is open to all TIG Forum members so yes bro if you can add some weapon pictures in 2011 that would be great and of course each successful submission means points on the board for you the competition

Regarding the Bootleg weapons im not sure at this stage Wolff but i am trying to collect pictures of them.


Anyone can contribute pictures to the weapon / accessory site at www.imperialgunnery.com the reason is the site is there for all vintage collectors to use there more people that help with can content the greater the resource becomes meaning collectors can stay protected and find the info the need

I have added a few more items myself today with more on the way this next week It would be awesome to see the weapon / accessory resource expanding on a weekly basis!

There are numerous Gaps for people to have a bash at filling just one example is we need pictures of ALL Yoda Snake Variants - In fact we need pictures of all yodas original accessories. This is a great area for someone to land a lot of points on the board
