| Can anyone point me in the right direction for information on AT AT driver varients. I have looked at various links and havent had a great deal of success. This is a figure I have decided I will specialise in and so I want to learn about bootlegs as well.
Any info much appreciated. Make, COO, Approx price etc etc Andy |

| I would start buying them as the come up on eBay Andy most sell for less than a tenner and you'll learn loads by having the different examples in your hand |

| Im debating that route Jay. but I want to try and avoid any unwanted spending so I can consentrate on the harder to find varients.
I already have 1 AT AT driver and 1 Carded on its way. I got the reply about the Uzay figure and im not that keen on the condition.
What about LL. I will have to check the thread and see if they do one. |

| I agree Chaz. Its just the cost of going down that route can start to add up. |

| I just ask every seller the same questions (I have asked them so many times I have a saved message) that way you have an idea on what your getting and its not such a gamble. I only have 3 Boushh doubles and I have bought quite a few |

| I dont want to get varients that have a slight mark on a leg etc. I just want to stick to the main varients like the one with the bigger circles, the smaller circles then the no coo. then maybe move onto bootlegs like UZAY and polish, hungerian etc. There not that badly priced average about £60 a figure.
As said I could do with Wolff to post me a pic like that one of the biker scouts. That was a varient collectors dream! |

| Chris_J has started a focus on the At-At driver. 2 people can have the same focus but you may not want to 'compete' with each other There is no LL version. And trying to work out what is a pink, red or orange insignia is nearly impossible unless you buy loads and compare (as has been suggested) The cost of doing this may be cheaper than buying specific variants- once a seller thinks or knows they have a variant the price goes up if listed as such. Wollf has done a picture of all his At-At drivers. If anyone is into variants you should have links to his "pictures of all known COOs" & his incomplete limelight. And IMO every little slight COO change refers to a different variant- be it a significant mold change or paint spray op

I see what you mean and agree! No Im not in competition. Im only just starting out with it so im in no rush to get any really expensive figures. Im going to be saving abit over the next 6 months so unless its a steel i wont be investing. |

No, I keep offering my services as the proof reader when he is finished If I am not high on the list of people to get one of the first few copies I will cry But it is such a huge job he is doing. | The insignas I only seen are the red and orange ones. You can find them easy on Ebay. If you go the COO route, you'll end up with a shit load before you find all of them. In my last collection, I had around 20-5 and still didn't have them all. Just like any variation, theres always something new to find. The Uzay will set you back a bit. I paid $125 for mine last year with some light paint wear and no weapon. The polish ones are scary. There are so many paint apps for them its not funny. I got 7 so far and still haven't scratched the surface. Someone on RS posted their collection of them and they have 23. It all goes down to how the mask is painted and the breather on the chest are painted. The Mex/SA I have 4 and one on the way. Theres more than that. I just started my focus also. At least now I got someone else to help find things. Seriously, its a good thing. Its cool to have someone else looking for the same thing to swap back and forth. If I see something interesting, I'll ask if your going for it or not. And if you are, I'll let you have it. I can go ahead and say if you find a POTF one, you can have it. Thats at the bottom of my list along with protos and pre-production items. |

| They are both easy to find. Theres some up on Ebay now I can send a link to you for them. The pink ones, I haven't seen those yet. I wonder if they are red ones faded or something. Price wise, they are the same across the board. |
