Hi Guys i have set up this thread to discuss the uber cool Vintage Star Wars Chirashis
For thos who dont know Chirashis are also called Japanese flyers or handbills and were handed out out movie theatres in Japan. They are a hugely collectable in the Far East and some of the rarest can fetch sums running into thousands of Dollars! Thankfully the Vintage Star Wars Chirashis are relatively cheap to pick up and look fantastic on display. To note most Chirashis are approx 7" x 10" (18cm x 26cm).
To find out more check out John Alvarez's awesome Guide on The Star Wars Collectors Archive

To kick things off here are the 2 Chirashis i have picked up so far
Return of the Jedi: Teaser
The next Chirashi i own is pretty hard to find (i have only come across this example so far) its a limited ESB / ROTJ Double Bill and isnt listed on theswca Guide.
As my camera is hosed the only picture i can do is on my mobile so im apologise for the poor quality
I was also lucky enough to track down the perfect type of plastic frame to display them! Believe it or not i got them in the pound shop lol!
