Hi,

Although I have some ideas on how to attempt this, I wonder if anyone here ever did this.

The problem is I have a working clicker with the usual bad sticker. Then I have a very beautiful clicker, but the metal clip which makes the 'click' inside broke off. Now obviously I want to transplant the good metal clip from the ugly clicker into the very nice clicker, but there is a snag. The clicker is glued shut. And there is no way to replace the clip without taking of the dark grey r2d2 dome that is glued to the body.

So, anyone ever attempted this ?

Regards,
Martijn

Martijn, I've just looked at mine. There is no way I'd attempt to pull the R2 head off. And you are hoping to get 2 off without damage. Even with it off the blue inner part may also be glued. I've pulled apart most Star Wars toys to have a look or fix them, the clicker is one that may be better left alone.

It's too bad indeed they did not go for a simple screw to put it together Sad Thanks for the input, I will try with some hot-cold changes on the broken one to see if the glue can be loosened. (Carefully, ofcouse Smile )
