Nice Pics Mate! And doubles already

I just had a flashback to 1981: What's that tree toy I sure I had one it had swings or something? I was three so can't rememeber properly.

The tree is an early Little Peoples' playset. It's missing a LOT, but complete it books for $60+. (We paid .50 cents, so..)

As I said guys, if any of you are into other toylines or whatnot, just ask...we have LOADS of stuff! (Just PLEASE dont ask for pics of my WIFE....when I said "loads" of stuff I WASNT meaning....ah hell...nevermind...LOL ) Sorry sorry..too low-brow?

Actually though, there IS a pic of my EX-wife in there....see? The Yarna figure??

Nice collection dude and like I posted in Brads Limelight there are no paltry collections or small collections. If everyone had the same stuff, life would be pretty boring.

Thanks for sharing. You've got a good assortment there already. I had a bunch of those M.U.S.C.L.E. figures growing up. I sold most of them a few years ago to help with some SW purchases. Do you have any of the later multi colored ones too?

Sweet collection. I love the Doughboy. I had one when I was a kid until I chewed through the hands and feet (guess thats whats wrong with me ).

Ah yes, the Doughboy, hes a charmer alright. As to the M.U.S.C.L.E., yes sir I DID have the non-pinks, but I never cared for those. A buddy of mine had a bit of a "warehouse find" some years back - - he was able to purchase 20 or so cases (72 4-packs per case..) from a place in Canada called "Oriental Trading". (They specialize in carnival/vending machine/dollar store toys..my buddy also got some bootleg Battle Beasts from there for like $8 US for a GROSS! )

And as to 'watching it grow', I'm assuming you meant the SW stuff man, because everything else is TOO BIG as it is!! (That REALLY wasnt meant as a double entendre, we have TWO storage units and TWO walk-in closets CRAMMED with toys/games/comics/assorted pop culture goodness from 1955~ now!) I mean, I might not PERSONALLY be into Care Bears or a Fisher Price playset, but the way I look at it is that we are "rescuing" these guys from flea bins and SOMEone will want them!

Me too, i'd forgotten all about those. I've got a box full of the buggers somewhere.

That doughboy is awesome m8. I had one of those as a kid. It's the oldest toy i remember as a kid. It was always there in my room. Interesting you say its a '71 vintage, so am i. I reckon a nutty uncle would have bought it as a christening present or something.
