Top Toys was in Argentina. Great line, only a handful of figures (Vader, Stormtrooper, Chewy, Chirpa, Logray, Luke Jedi and Yoda). Fun little fact, they have no peg holes in their feet

Here's an old banner with the figures

Bill, Bryan,

Thank you so much guys for the info and photos regarding the dent in Blue Snag's foot. I have driven myself mad trying to figure out which one of mine had the dent. Turns out neither of them do... I bought one eons ago on eBay that was supposed to be a dented version. For the life of me I could never find the damn dent, well turns out it wasn't there, lol!

Johnpaul,

Congrats on that kick-ass TT Darth Vader and the Clipper GG. Never ever seen one like him before. Enjoy adding them to the display man!! Smile

I added another vintage Vader and the Darth Vader Tie Fighter this weekend. Both should be here this week. Pics then. This is getting out of control.

Nice pair of Leias!

@hellhippie congrats on the Yoda, Bill. You're so right about the prices these days. Just grabbing a rare accessory-less figure is an achievement in today's market.

I picked up a 1984 Airfix catalogue which has some good Star Wars pages. Goes well with my 1983 Airfix catalogue which also has SW models inside.

Man I still remember a top toys Yoda that had the cape and belt that had a cheap buy it now price on it. I was new and looking to see if it was a good deal (under $150) and someone snagged the buy it now while i was researching it out. Sad

Congrats on grabbing that bill. It's a cool figure even without the accessories.

Paul, those are some cool pics in that catalog. I think my favorite is the biker scout ones though. Obviously artist renders or something as those aren't toy release poses but still the top down look with that crazy computer board looking background is just awesome.

I've been away for awhile, so here are my rounds!

Bill - Congrats on the red rectangle r5! I was watching one and never pulled the trigger. And  @ Yoda.

Chopper - Love the mini-rigs. I have the sail skiff myself and it's awesome! Also, nice LL's!

Broke - I'm jealous of the Blue Snaggletooth! It's the last figure I need to complete my first run. And the falcon looks great. Are you happy with it?

T'Shot - Beautiful Leia Boushh - Where did you end up finding it?

JP - I'm a fan of that Clipper Gammy. Congrats on the Vader as well. Both awesome!

Paul - That Airfix magazine is stellar, especially the pic with the speeder bike scouts! cheers

thanks guys  Smile

@trappedtexan
Bryan, I wonder if the design team was inspired by Tron? It looks like plastic sprue tree parts from the models lit up Tron-like  thinking

Picked up this cool Comics and Fantasy Con #1 Flyer a few months ago.

Mainly because it's my favorite comic book artist, and it just so happens he drew a little bit everything including a Stormie!

I don't think the Vader cape and saber are real even though they were represented as real.

Hollow eyes ig88. Why do you doubt the cape and saber? I see the cape is shiny and looks slick but I think there is a version like that. I will see if I can dig up a thread on it in a bit.

Honestly it just looks too good. And there was a story about it being his dad's old stuff from a box but he didn't know.

Here is one where Oscar talks about the smooth type cape briefly. Oscar is still around I believe and logs in from time to time if you want to send him a pm. He is a Vader focus collector and very knowledgeable.
