If you haven't seen these yet.  This shows the Han hoth, rebel soldier, and snowtrooper.  All cards look opened, but still amazing to see.

All of the bubbles are open. The bubbles shown may not be original to the cards even. I think they are Ledy bubbles, but they don't really match up with the card tears, and it would appear that the lips on them are all missing. Unfortunately with the bubbles opened it means that the figures could be not the originals to those cards, but I am hoping that they are. it is a very significant find regardless as not many of these cardbacks exist and especially with the name plates still attached.

I have very little knowledge about Lili Ledy. So why is this so amazing? Is a Ledy 10 back that scarce and hard to find?

Basically there are probably less known existing imperio cardbacks than there are rocket fetts. The Ledy line was mostly on return of the Jedi cards. For a long time people thought these esb era cards to be rumor. Some thought that the esb cards were prototypes just generic for internal stuff. It is thought that these cards were made for imported figures as a way to test the market and see if Ledy could profit from producing Star Wars figures. The figures seen on these imperio cards are very different from later produced Ledy cards (because they are imported to be carded by Ledy and not produced by Ledy) so some of these were never in the Ledy line again. Lili Ledy did not produce a Han hoth, snowtrooper, or rebel soldier. To my knowledge there has not been any sealed moc imperio figures found even still. All are opened that have come to be known to collectors.

It's amazing these have all stayed together for so long and have now come to light - and that all 8 figures are Kenner. I also like how the cardback art was taken from a detail from an ESB cinema poster which I didn't know until reading that RS thread Bryan linked.

I never knew that's where the art was from either. Luis G came onto rs and wrote pretty much what I had already written confirming two theories for these figures. Ledy people have said they produced everything, but since some of them were never released again and with the changes made from the esb line to the Rotj line it doesn't make sense that they had the molds, then changed the molds and paint. I don't know that an answer will ever be definitive, but why produce the snowtrooper, Han hoth, rebel soldier, then never produce them again but produce a rebel commander? I think it is better theory wise to say that the imperio line was imported figures as there doesn't seem to be anything different about them (from paint or plastic) to Kenner figures.

Opened them, played with them but kept all of them, accesories, weapons, blisters (cut to remove each from the cardboard), cardboards (Two of them still have its price stickers from two different toy stores).

Hi Julio , I was looking at your Snowtrooper rifle pictures just the other day I think

So glad to see this. More or less my collecting focus for star wars has been ledy items and these are Grail items in the ledy world for sure. Thanks so much for sharing.
