| EMPEROR'S ROYAL GUARD FORCE PIKEPicture with provisional description:  I've found these three different ERG Pikes in my collection. V1 and V2 are the ones which are already on the Imperial Gunnery Website. V3 is not yet in the guide. Some other collectors have verified they have V3 in their collections also. V1 can have slightly misaligned mould halves which leads to a mismatch on the handle's lines ( green double arrow on pic). I've also tried to relate the three pike moulds to the three different ERG figure moulds: V1 can be found on Taiwan MOCs with TJ factory code. V2 can be found with MIHK figures as Wolff has stated. So V3 should be the correct one for the HK on boots figure. :scratch: Till now these are only assumptions that need to be proved! And therefore I need your help! If you own an ERG MOC it would be great if you could post which pike and which figure it is. Even better post pics! If you need assistance determing which figure is on your card, please let me know maybe I can help. Here is a link to my ERG-entry in the Family Mould Guide which can help you determine which figure you have. MOC collectors please help to prove my assumptions concerning the ERG pikes! | Here's my ERG.     It is a Kenner 65 bk with a HT (Hong Kong, Unitoys) factory mark. The good news is that after checking the 'Mould Family Guide', I can conform that it is a Hong Kong/no coo figure (Family III) And the pike appears to be a V3 (thick with no epm's). This combo matches Patrick's description above. However, one moc is not enough to provide conclusive evidence, so we really need as many examples of moc & sealed baggies (covering all 3 Families) as possible. PLEASE HELP!  |

| Thanks for checking your ERG, Steve!  Good news that it's a family III (HK on boots) figure with a V3 pike!  Steve is certainly not the only owner of an ERG moc. MOC collectors PLEASE HELP! |

| Sorry for my late reply  @ Jedi Blueberry: Alex, I'm pretty sure it's a V1 Pike as it seems to have the slight bulge, right? But I'm not quite sure about the figure. Could be HK or a MITW one (but probably not the MIHK one!?). Could you please have a look at the ERG's soles and compare it's pegholes' position to this comparison pic:  I is MITW (made in Taiwan), II is MIHK (mad in Hong Kong), III is HK (Hong Kong on boots) Cheers! @ Starwizz: Maikel, I think the Clipper/Palitoy ERG has a V1 pike, the PBP ERG a V2 or V3(???) not sure about it. Also I'm not sure about the figures. Do you still own them and could have a look at their soles too? Cheers! |
