| Hey Wolff,
Just noticed: The Ledy Darth Vader no longer has an unique COO?
I'll have to update the Ledy guide then.
Cheers

Wait a second...I noticed that too. I have to check my no coos AGAIN! Maybe the others are also LL and I never noticed! You are right: It is MIM figure and therefore should have unique coo. And for the same reason I could have found a few by accident on the US market. Anyway: The HK coo of LL of course exists as Kenner!! Hang on! |

| Hmmm...I am confused now....could be they are all Ledy/MIM....pain sheme is the same IMO. Capes are partially Ledy....but mixed up stuff on MIM is normal....and capes could have been swaped later....sooooooooo...
What do you all think??
Kenner/LL or only LL?? (edit: I am going with "only" LL, just to be sure. I will investigate further)

Wolff I assume the no COO (IV-2) is unique for the Ledy Vader. It would make sense. Lili Ledy already had the steelmould to produce their HK Vader. At a later moment, only "Hong Kong" had to be removed to produce an unique no COO for the Ledy Vader. Why would other factories use this same modified steel mould? Same story for the Ledy Yoda. The COOs for the HK Yoda and darkgreen no COO Yoda belong to the same family. The COO for the latter was obtained by modifying the steelmould which was already in use by Lili Ledy, giving rise to an unique Ledy COO.

Same for the Yoda. The COOs for the HK Yoda and darkgreen no COO Yoda belong to the same family. The COO for the latter was obtained by modifying the steelmould which was already in use by Lili Ledy, giving rise to an unique Ledy COO. Talking Ledy now..... ..LOL In case of Leia Bespin and others (R2, C-3PO, Luke Bespin, Han Bespin etc) this doesnt work! But in case of the MIM figures (that also exist as HK Ledy figures) it works...I agree. Never try to explain LL or PBP/Poch logical....it simply isn't (in most cases ) Again: I agree on Yoda and Vader.... but these two are the only "logicals" that come into my mind (compared to 5 unlogical ones that come into my mind).....just noticing @Alex: Thank you buddy....you were a huge help my friend! |

| My ears perked up after hearing "Leia Bespin". I would love to hear your thoughts on her regarding Ledy and POCH. (I have my own discombobualted thoughts on both ) Not to be discussed now of course. When you do get around to the ESB line, let me know if there are any Leia Bespin gaps you encounter, please let me know as I should be able to help. I wish I was a hardcore COO variant collector so I could really have a field day with the ANH guide! My stormies are the only fig aside form LFB which I can use currently. It is neat to compare a run of COOs to a guide just to see how many you are short and set the challenge to fill in those gaps for your collection. It's the COO collecting game! hehe Thanks again, Wolff. OH and check your PM for a pic of a missing Stormie COO. (I believe)cheers! |
