But I absolutely LOVE this figure... I love the look of the Black Series anyway, but Plagueis is my 2nd favorite Sith Lord (outside the movies) next to Bane. The story (book) of Darth Plagueis is really great and just couldn't put it down once I started reading it.

Anyway, my girls got this for me today! (and he's not cheap because he's not really sold anywhere but online at sites like amazon). Just love the details on him. He's the first modern I've received for ME in a long-long time. All the modern figures I get are for my girls (almost always Padme and Leia).

Perhaps one day once I get through the vintage line I might consider the cool new black series or any of the more detailed modern.

I did have a look at Amazon and am shocked at the cost of the 3 3/4 line!!!

Thanks! As I said in another post, with grad school and two jobs as well as my baby girls... time is so limited.

The Black Series is a neat modern series. The detail is amazing, but like I said, I LOVE getting to see a figure like Plageuis which has never been made before.
