| From the seller on the original sale: 'THIS FIGURE HAVE SOME DETAILS AS THEY ARE MARKED ON THE PICTURES, THE ROCKET HAVE SOME MARKS ON THE TIP AND THERE IS A BLUE FACTORY MARK ON THE ROCKET BUT THERE IS NO PLASTIC MISSING ON THE ROCKET OR GLUE MARKS. THE INSIDE OF THE ROCKET HOLE HAVE SOME MARKS THAT SHOWS THAT THE ROCKET WAS PUT IN AND OUT BY THE PREVIOUS OWNER.' The seller points some very important characteristics of this figure on his sale but the figure still it's advertised as a 100% authentic guaranteed Removable rocket while the very same characteristics on the description turns this figure in to a not original removable rocket. Please take a look:An original LL Removable Rocket must have:-Clean rocket hole, no stress marks, not red residues from rocket, no melt marks from welding process, even if the rocket was inserted and taken out a lot of times those characteristics are not present on an original LL RR Boba Fett. -Clean rocket with no blue residues at all, no melt marks and no missing parts. Where does the blue residue mark on rocket comes from? From the contact with this part: After welding process and due melting the blue plastic leaves a mark on the rocket. If this blue mark on the rocket is on the opposite side of the tab that means that rocket was placed correctly inside Boba's torso with the tab inserted here: So if the rocket has the blue mark on the opposite side of the rocket's tab it comes from a regular LL Boba Fett. I have seen lots of fake LL RR Fett with this mark, present and 'erased', just like this: There's a 'factory mistake' LL Boba Fett that has the blue mark right next to the tab on the rocket, something like this: If the blue residue mark is right next to the tab that means that rocket was wrongly placed inside boba (with the tab not inserted on the right place) before welding process, so with a little turn the rocket can be taken out. A regular LL boba fett has the blue residue mark exactly on the opposite side of the tab, a 'Factory Mistake' LL RR Boba Fett has the blue residue mark right next to the tab and an original LL RR Boba fett has no blue mark at all, because rocket was inserted after welding process so no melt marks at all on it. Seller pictures: As you can see on the pics, this Fett has Red residues inside rocket's hole, blue residues on rocket (right to the opposite side of the tab) and tweezers marks on the tip of the rocket. Remember a LL Rocket with missing parts, melt marks, or blue residues on the opposite side of the tab comes from a regular LL Boba fett and: An original LL Removable Rocket must have:-Clean rocket hole, no stress marks, not red residues from rocket, no melt marks from welding process, even if the rocket was inserted and taken out a lot of times those characteristics are not present on an original LL RR Boba Fett. -Clean rocket with no blue residues at all, no melt marks and no missing parts.

I was looking at this one as well this morning, but I thought it looked good? The blue marks on the rocket are in the correct place as per Ozio's previous description. And he states in the ad, who the previous owner was. Maybe some of the ledy experts can chime in on this one. I don't see blue marks on that rocket, those marks look more like stress and melt marks to me. Still if you are interested on that figure ask for some pictures of the inside of the rocket hole, and from rocket right on the opposite side of the tab, those 2 pictures will help you better. I've uploaded my research on the LL RR Fett, please take a look when you have the time: http://www.imperialgunneryforum.com/t5523p180-the-lili-ledy-discussion-thread-part-2#98389 cheers Ozio |

| Seems very odd that the rocket tab is broke, that can't be an easy thing to just 'snap' off, chewed off maybe, but I'd bet my money that if you asked for a picture of the interior of the rocket pack from the other side, you'd probably see that missing piece still stuck into the slot.
A few years ago I had a couple knackered beater Fett's, so I decided to break them open to check out the interior and potential for making a RF custom, When I tried to remove the Rocket from one of them the tab broke off and remained firmly stuck in the little slot! sound familiar!
P.S. Interestingly the second Fett I dismantled was a Taiwan Fett and the rocket didn't have a tab at all, just a plain rocket ike the prototypes, not sure if this is the case with all Taiwan Fett's. |

| I agree. This thread was started about a completely different RR LL Fett, not Don's. I think people were concerned because of the tab on the rocket. His description on his sale described the condition and who he got it from. It is legit. And he sold it... |

| Yeah I just read his facebook post description, no question about the authenticity of that, like you said Steve just that broken tab set a few alarm bells ringing. |

| I posted the ocean11 one due to a few red flags, broken rocket and no photos showing the inside of the hole. The rocket had what looks like a melt mark on one side.
As for the seller I have never heard of him so I could not confirm the integrity of the piece and likewise did not claim his item was bogus.

| I saw the pics he added and everything was ok with his fett, no residues inside rocket hole or melt marks on inner tab, those two characteristics are the most important ones on a LL RR Fett figure. - General Kahn wrote:

Interesting! I always wondered if all Taiwan Fetts where this way (without a tab) I know some times the rockets can come loose, main;y Tri-Logo's, every Tri-Logo Fett I have or have had has a wobbly Rocket, never heard of it on other Fetts though, the tab prevents the removal on Tri Fetts (at least without damaging it) on a Taiwan Fett though, I guess that if it came loose it would just slide out because of the lack of tab? |
