| If anyone can help with cloth Jawa capes that would be awesome from what i have seen (im a MOC collector) there seems to be numerous variants of the Jawa Cloth Cape so the only way i can catalogue them all is if as many people as possible can chip in with pictures and info As pictured in the first post are the first 2 Jawa Capes that Paul kindly submitted. I dont really collect loose but there seems to be numerous styles of colth jawa capes big hood, little hood, Ledy removable hood etc etc etc. The aim is by working together we can catologue then all acurately for the following page (which needs a lot of work to it! )- http://www.imperialgunnery.com/capesandcloaks.htm Cheers Jay |

| Jay, the v1 looks like a smooth Jawa cape if i'm not mistaken. The v1 you have pictured seems to have light brown stitching to the hood but dark brown to the rest. I have one that is dark stitching all around and the hood is small. If i get time i will get my camera out tomorrow and take some pics. I will have a check through all my others too and see if there are many different ones. |

| Wow, those are really nice pictures. Unfortunately, I do not have anything new to add. I can personally account for a white and purple stitch variant. Unfortunately, no macro pictures though. A pink stitch variant "may" exist, but I have only see one example.. Nice thread though and wish I could contribute.. |

| Ok Guys massive thanks to all who have helped so far Here are the final cape pictures along with the info provided by the submitter This V1 - V10 is not set in stone but thats how i have set them out for now any feedback is greatly appreciated as its a work in progress and as Jason said there are still some we need to add including the Ledy Jawa removable hood cloth cape as well! ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- V1 -This cape is quite flimsy and thin and has dark red/light brown stitching throughout. V2 - This cape is darker than the V1 and is a heavier fabric. The material is stretchy. The stitching on the hood is the same as the V1, but elsewhere the stitching is dark brown. V3 - Smooth cape which I often refer to as a sponge like material with green stitching V4 - Large hood with horizontal cross pattern V5 - Sponge like material with Dark Brown stitching V6 - Sponge like material with Maroon stitching V7 - Thicker cross hair material with darker brown/gray stitching V8 - Sponge like material, with light brown stitching V9 - Sponge like material with medium brown stitching V10 - Smooth cape, Dark Stitching, Small Hood

| Just to note i listed the submitted pics V1 - V10 but some maybe pictures of the same cape variant. Just looking at them to me V1 and V8 look similar / the same? Also V7 and V10 look similar / the same? Any help would be great I know there are a few more we need to get as well! Can anybody provide high quality pictures of the Ledy Jawa Cloth Cape with removable hood? Cheers Jay |

| Ok these are the ones i think are possibly the same (Im using the V1 - V10 structure i set out in my previous post) V1 AND V8 the same? V1 -This cape is quite flimsy and thin and has dark red/light brown stitching throughout. V8 - Sponge like material, with light brown stitching V7 AND V10 the same? V7 - Thicker cross hair material with darker brown/gray stitching V10 - Smooth cape, Dark Stitching, Small Hood Any thoughts would be great Cheers Jay |

| :abducted: Looooooong time bump to see if anybody has any input that can help finish off the Jawa capes in the thread above so they can be added to the page below - http://www.imperialgunnery.com/capesandcloaks.htm Also if anyone fancies chipping to get more content onto the capes and cloak section then feel free to help via this thread As you can see a lot of work needs doing all you need is access to loose capes & cloacks, be good with a camera as well and motivated to help out the community Cheers Jay |

| I think the Jawa VI and the V8 look the same.
The Jawa V7 and V10 also look the same material wise. |

| I'll make some time to dig my jawas out tomorrow & see whether I have anything to add. For now, here is a photo that I added to the Jawa FOTW thread which shows the three hood sizes seen on the 'rough' capes. [img] [/img] |

| My suggestion would be to sort them by material. There is roughly 3-4 materials (I quote from mind so this maybe wrong) - rough1 - rough2 - smooth1 - smooth2 (LL) then you can add hoodsize a,b,c to each material, probably: - rough1 a,b,c - rough2 a,b,c - smooth1 a - smooth2 (LL) rem hood And then you can add only macros from the stitching color to each material. There should be tons of it! So having only 4 capes pictured then only add macros from material, hoodsize and sticthing color would do the job better I think then fully picturing 50 capes or so.......anyone understands my morning blablabal??? |

| Excellent idea Wolff. I was in the process of amending my post with a very similar suggestion, but you beat me to it. IMO what you have proposed is a more logical way of classifying the capes than having a 'V' number for every minor variation. |

| Perhaps instead of a,b,c for hood size stick with S,M,L ? ( is that internationally recognised as small, medium, large ??? ) |

| Wolffs idea Is this how it would be set out? V1a Rough 1 Small Hood
V1b Rough 1 Medium Hood
V1c Rough 1 Large Hood
V2a Rough 2 Small Hood
V2b Rough 2 Medium Hood
V2c Rough 2 Large Hood
V3a Smooth 1 Small Hood
V3b Smooth 1 Medium Hood
V3c Smooth 1 Large Hood
V4 Smooth 2 (Lili Ledy)
Below is the list that needs sorting out - Any ideas which pictures fit where in terms of the above catagories? V1 -This cape is quite flimsy and thin and has dark red/light brown stitching throughout. V2 - This cape is darker than the V1 and is a heavier fabric. The material is stretchy. The stitching on the hood is the same as the V1, but elsewhere the stitching is dark brown. V3 - Smooth cape which I often refer to as a sponge like material with green stitching V4 - Large hood with horizontal cross pattern V5 - Sponge like material with Dark Brown stitching V6 - Sponge like material with Maroon stitching V7 - Thicker cross hair material with darker brown/gray stitching V8 - Sponge like material, with light brown stitching V9 - Sponge like material with medium brown stitching V10 - Smooth cape, Dark Stitching, Small Hood |

| Your V1a - V4 list is certainly along the lines of what I had in mind Jay (Although I believe that all smooth V3 capes have a small hood).
We could then include some text on which stitch colour/s can be found with each variant & as Wolff suggested, have reference photo's for the stitch colour, as one mans orange will be another mans light brown. |

| The only cape I have which is different to those already illustrated, is smooth with dark stitching on the hood & light brown stitching on the body. (The stitch colours are the reverse of those of the V2 posted by Paul / Artoo_Detour). [img] [/img] |
