I was viewing another forum and someone said they want repro boxes made up. Then someone posted a link to this site.

http://replicaboxes.tripod.com/Starwars.html

It doesn't surprise me that they are out there, but I hadn't heard of anyone making/selling them before.

Shocked I wonder if anyone has one and doesn't know its repro?

Theres a seller on Ebay about two weeks ago that had smaller ones like those up with the 3 3/4 figures. Just another way to scam someone who doesn't know better and don't ask questions before the go nuts bidding, with the seller not disclosing the fact they are repro boxes. Thank goodness I'm only buying from those I trust anymore.

There was a guy selling reproduction inserts and probably still is so it pays to be careful, this is news to me but to be honest its not completely surprising.

I would say that the one good thing about buying things that have a bit of damage (edge ware, tape damage, sticker tears etc) is that the probability of someone making it look old by damaging it is quite slim.

I think I would rather buy a tatty vintage piece than a reproduction (by mistake or by being scammed)
