Hi guys,

Well, tomorrow is the big day that the wife and I and our little son, Louis, move away to new life in France!

Our flat in Birmingham looks like a warehouse at the moment with everything in boxes,
the movers come in the morning (I'm really hoping all our stuff gets there ok :nailbiting: )

Hope to get online in a couple of weeks and catch up with you all - I will let you know as soon as I find some
Meccano - and believe me I'll be looking as soon as next weekend

Look forward to catching up with you all soon & the latest purchases thread!
It updates so quickly there should be a ton of new stuff to drool over.
Will work out a season 2 Detail game as well once we settled

Be back in the UK for a bit late Sept and also late November for Bham Memorabilia show!

Hi guys, finally got a decent internet connection at the new place so it's great to be back online at last

Our new home is very nice and the move went well despite having to wait a week for our furniture and belongings
to arrive from UK. Can't believe how hot the weather is here - mosquitos have savaged my poor English white legs
loadsa wine has compensated for this tho

Wow Paul, emigrating is not such a bad idea, wonderfull place you got there!

BTW: You know it is forbidden to take pics of military objects with a zoom camera from the sea? So make sure you are facing the right half of the island!
