| Guys, my vision is getting worse from the Diabetes, which is still not under control. That said, I won't be able to put the stickers on my DF R2 when it arrives. I may ask someone else to do it, or leave it alone altogether. If you knew how much of a strain it was to type this, you'd do the same.
That said, if I don't reply quickly or I don't catch a typo, that is why. This is very scary. I gotta get my eyes back. |

Looks like Chris can help you out bud as he is in the same country so it wouldn't take that long to get him to do it. At least that way your getting someone who knows about and loves these items as oppose to a family member or someone i'd hate my mrs to attempt putting the sticker on as i just know she would fuck it lol Jay |

| Thanks for the offer Chris and for the replies. My Mom is a real trooper and a fan, and she has done other projects for me, so I think I'll be covered on the stickers. All I have to do is show her one of my other R2'a and she'll get it. Should I change my mind Chris, I'll LYK.
I had yet another doc appointment today. I have to go every few days until my blood sugar is under control. He says that my vision should improve when it's stable, but it will take time. If it's not related to Diabetes, then I guess we'll have to deal with it later.
Meanwhile, the Fibromyalgia has been acting up today as well, so I gotta take it easy. I have a lot on my mind. |

| A bit of good news. My vision was better when I woke up today so I didn't go to the hospital. My blood glucose finally dropped below 200 and I think that has something to do with it. The computer screen is still blurry, but at least I can see my 40" HDTV a little better. I got really depressed and scared when I couldn't watch my BSG Blu-rays. A long road is till ahead, but at least I can see the TV. |

| Indeed. I have an appointment tomorrow. My sister was Diabetic for most of her life and she offered some good advice. She had an experimental pancreas transplant and has been free for many years. She agrees that my blood sugar could be the cause of my vision problem, but said it might be the type of insulin. So, we'll have to see what the doc says. My vision didn't go until after I started injecting, so it makes sense. I just hope it is resolved soon, because I'm nothing without my eyes.
Jesus, it took me like 15 minutes to type this. |

| Still not resolved. The doc is stumped. We are going to try a different type of insulin that has to be injected more often. It HAS to be the insulin that is causing my vision problem because I am starting to be able to see the TV again and I have not injected all day. If the new insulin effects my eyes tomorrow, my options will not be very good. I may end up being put on an insulin pump. This fucking sucks. |

| Hope they figure out whats going on and you don't have to go on the pump. I just asked my mom, who is a diabetic, and she said if you have glucomiya (however its spelled), your eyes will go blurry. She has to keep having her eyes checked to see if she has it or not. So if your not sure if you have it or not, I'd ask the next time your at the doctors to check it out. That might be the problem. |

| My vision's a little better today, so hopefully that's a good sign. My blood sugar is getting better so I hope it keeps working. There are Diabetic supplies all over the apartment!
I was noticing earlier that the concept Snowtrooper looks a lot like the armor worn by the 15th Squadron in Robotech.
I hope DF R2 and German Indy arrive today. |

| Mom applied R2's sticker today. There was a bit of flaking because it's so old, but I'm glad that the collection is done. Now, if only my vision would come back. |

| Thanks for caring guys. Usually I try to avoid personal things because people are on these forums for toys, not a charity case. I will turn 38 on June 17th. I was 5 years old in 1977, and have been hooked ever since. My vision problem is still bad, but my doc is hooking me up with a Diabetic specialist that will hopefully be able to get to the bottom of it. I had a cyst removed from my shoulder today and now I'm sore on top of everything else. I can't wait to be able to focus my eyes and look at my complete collection on the wall. |

| Back to the collection here briefly.... Take a look at R2's sticker. Mom told me it flaked, but I couldn't see how bad until I took this high resolution image and put it on my HD monitor. Obviously, the sticker was lying flat for too long. I could just scream. The guy in Germany has of course not yet replied about a partial refund. The body is the best I've ever seen, but the sticker.... Dammit. |

| Age doesn't do old flat stickers any justice. Once you start bending it, it will flake up like that
Hope the specialist can help you out bud and find out whats going on. |

| Indeed. The dome and body are the greatest, but the sticker turned out to be craptastic. The seller is from RS so if I don't hear from him by next week, I'll have to landblast him in the forums. |
