Hi, after some info about the black palace blasters repro's. Can anyone confirm when the first decent repro versions appeared? The reason for asking is that I thought I had a complete set of original figures and weapons that sat untouched from the late 90/early 2000. These were collected no later than 2002 and from what I thought were original childhood collection. In one collection I picked up all the Last 17 with what I thought were original weapons (In fact this was 90% of all the figs and 40% of the range of vehicles).
Anyway, I've started collecting variants since lockdown and while sorting out some stuff I have checked some of my older figures to check the weapon variations etc and found the 2 Black Palace Blasters and 1 Endor Blaster to be repro. As I said they were brought no later then 2002 but believe it was pre-2000. Pictures attached. They all float and other than the missing bump on the body just below the barrel they looked good. I had little concern back then as I thought all the repro's were quite poor.
All my recent purchases since lockdown have been fine, and I know I have never bought a loose figure with a black palace blaster.
Pictures attached. The beat up one is original and on the picture of the hilts its on the left..
Any help would be appreciated.

Thanks for the reply. I'm currently going through my collection checking for fake stuff. Found 4 so far Currently on Han Blasters. However with all the info out there and not everything on TIG it does get confusing. Now the quest to try and find replacements,
