Hi! I was curious as to whether all 12 back single telescoping figures with sabers measure 1 cm/10 mm on the tip. I have a 12A Obi-Wan Kenobi that I suspect might have a double telecoping light saber. I'm unable to do the paperclip test because there is no gap like on Luke and Vader's cards. I measured the tip and it's 7 mm instead of 10 like my Luke and Vader. Vader is a Taiwan version with a rounded tip and is a 12B back. Luke and Ben are Hong Kong versions. Anyway, I have no other carded 12 backs to compare them to so I was hoping someone on the site knows if this is correct. Thanks for your time.

Since there haven't been any replies I'll post some pics.  The figure has a dented bubble and some sort of white fuzz all over it.  It had the fuzz on it when I bought it back in 1992 so I have no idea what's caused it.  Since I
can't do the paperclip test, are there any other ways to tell that won't damage the packaging?  X-rays maybe?

I am no help with stuff like this. The only suggestion I can make is try to send it to a grading company to see ahat they say.

As far as the white stuff on it, this is some type of mold and is fairly common. I have heard exposure to sunlight will make it go away but I have also heard of people who put these types of things in sunlight where there was extreme heat and they had bubble warping.

Thanks!  I went to the AFA website a few weeks ago to check out pricing.  The only bad thing I hate is the sealing factor, but it's necessary to keep somone from swapping out the graded action figure.  With his dented bubble and mold I don't think he would fair very high, but I believe economy pricing isn't too extreme.

Also, I will try a limited exposure on old Moldy-Wan Kenobi and see if it will make his fungus infection disappear.
