A while back I bought a NM-MINT white haired Ben Kenobi in a simple purchase with someone that I have dealt with on many occasions and he even mentioned that one of the Bens was one that was originally made for a true authentic original DT saber. I have tried putting authentic single extension sabers through it both with and without the little extension pieces as well as one of those full length 3 dot kinds that go with Bespin Lukes and all of them will barely go through if it is lined up just right and then forced through. If I were to have bought one like this with a single extension I would have taken it back because it is obvious that it is the wrong size hole for the later models which would lead me to believe it is made for something else like a DT. Can anyone enlighten me about this whole situation?

there wasn't a specific figure mold made for a dt saber. There are cases where the arms had mold defects that weren't caught causing the opening to be to small. I can't think of ever having seen a kenobi with one but there are lots of examples of Luke farmboy with this issue. In fact most "commonly" found on trilogo cards with the Saber loose in the tray with the figure. Common being a relative term as the figure is not really rare but far more correct ones were made than incorrect.
