Having grown up reading comics, I have long had an attachment to many of the main stream marvel characters (as well as dc of course). The "father" of marvel comics passed away today at the age of 95. I never got to meet him, nor get his autograph but I have always enjoyed his cameos in the marvel movies and have seen several interviews on you tube. Stan seemed to be a great guy. I doubt marvel comics will ever quite be the same.

I remember seeing his camoes... but never released who he was!

Was listening to him on the news talk about himself coming-up with Spiderman to his publisher; so glad that Stan didn’t listen to him.

Such an inspirational force in that he kept working into his 90s and had such a long and distinguished career. Amazing to think of the amount of characters he co-created that will continue to live on in his absence. RIP Mr Lee.
