Hello my fellow collectors,

I recently acquired a 12 Back A Darth Vader and I have my suspicions about its authenticity. I am attaching some photos.
The suspicious aspects are the lack of the waffle patterns on the bubble and the blue color on the lightsaber. I felt the image looked a little blurry as well.
Please share your thoughts.

Hi Dom,

I hate to say this but this is definitely a fake. The lightsaber has been painted and I can see the tape where the bubble has been attached to the card (also the bubble is the wrong size).

Sorry to say all of that but I hope you didn't pay a lot for it and also that you can get your money back.

Hey Dom I agree with Palifan it's a fake for sure, there should be little issue getting your funds back if you paid using Paypal Good's and Services, unfortunately if you went the friend's and family then your SOL.

Bit late to the party. Dom I find checking google images helps to compare items for authenticity. Final Frontiers usually has great pictures you can zoom up on.  In this case the lack of bubble stem even in blurry pictures would have saved you a headache
